JUST WENT AGAINST A LAGSWITCHNG PC SWF
I'm on console. I was playing demo when I got intense lag. COME TO FIND OUT,THEY WERE LAGSWITCHNG. I checked their steam on my tablet, and they had all sorts of LAGSWITCHNG allegations, even some from one year ago. It wasn't fun. Also, where do I report them online?

I wouldn't really bother, Noone is going to do anything unfortunately. Remember their names and dodge them next time.

Thanks. Bhvr can't seem to fix or moderate their game. Infact I'd say the forums have bett r moderation then the actual game

Me and my buddy joined a match and the other two had speed hacks/flying hacks/and insta gens. My friend has the clip, if I remember I'll try to find it unfortunately I don't think I can share because of forums rules.
End game (literally 2 minutes) we opened the exit gates and bailed, luckily the killer was xbox with us and we messaged him to explain we weren't with them but had recordings and will report. Hackers ruin the game for everyone but themselves

me & my friend had a game with a hacker teammate. the guy was getting flashlight saves across the map. instahealing himself and teammates off the ground. phased under the ground to body block the hook, i could see his aura literally body blocking from beneath the floor, the killer would swing & hit nothing. speedhacking. macro flashlight. infinite stuns with head on where the killer can’t move for SEVERAL seconds & is stuck in stun animation.
that’s my experience. I reported but I don’t think it does anything. I felt bad for the killer. I could just shake my head. I thought there was anti-cheat, bhvr???

Welcome to DBD one of the only major games without a post match summery data for the developers to look at to find hackers!
No seriously most games have match data points for developers to look through to find hackers.
This is not a video recording but more constant player locations on the map like X,Y,Z which lets devs look to see if players are moving impossibly fast/teleporting/flying and status variables like how long Exhaustion has left/how much HP they have and if it changes in normally impossible ways.
DBD for some reason doesn't have this despite it being a standard for PvP games as a reporting system against hackers is useless without it.

How would them lag switching affect your own connection though?
Lag switching used to be a thing back in the day when the Killer player was also the host. Now we have dedicated servers.

I had a lag switching Ace once I believe. Anytime I went for him my internet basically crapped out. I kept sputtering and lagging badly. Then when I went for someone else nothing happened. It was just with the Ace player. Made me so mad. Even worse when I downed the cheater and the other survivors wouldn’t let him die for cheating. Instead they rushed and saved him. If I know someone in my team as survivor is cheating I won’t save them.
