Is anyone else utterly dependent on a single addon or perk to even minimally function?
I have gotten to r3 (my highest ever) playing 100% wraith, but I just realized I am completely and utterly crippled without one specific addon (purple All Seeing, which gives you perma 12m aura reading when stealthed).
This single add-on negates any need to win mindgames (since you see the surv you want, all the time), destroys stealthers (as a wraith, I WANT to play Yamaoka Estate because it makes survs think they can stealth, which results in 3+ free hits a game), and means it is virtually impossible to lose track of someone in a chase. You can also do 6.0 m/s drivebys of buildings, lower/upper floors, etc. without going in them.
I tried a few games without it (at about r4), and I averaged about .5 kills a game (usually with only 2-3 hooks), compared to my usual ~3 kills a game. So even on the same killer, I am r3-4 with it and probably rank 11 or 12 without it.
Anyone else have a similar crutch?

Hard for me to function without Shadowborn, because I get sick without it, because the default FOV is absolutely horrible.

Yes. The pressure of playing Trapper without Padded Jaws wrecks me. Which sounds like I'm being sarcastic, but I'm genuinely not.

Killer: corrupt
I have eyesight issues so finding windows or pallets without windows is almost impossible.
For the same reason i need corrupt, I whiff very often and have a hard time finding survivors so that litle extra time is a god sent for me

Difficult for my playstyle to function without aura perks. It's a bummer because I would enjoy some of the other, more powerful ones but I've become so accustomed to being able to get periodic reads of where everyone else in the game is that it's difficult for me to move on.

I can’t play billy without dad’s boots. They’re not even that good but they feel so nice to have on

I play without add-ons on most Killers most of the time because of this very fact. I want add-ons to be something I appreciate, not something I rely on or take for granted.
That's just a personal idiosyncrasy tho. IMO you should use All-Seeing Blood or whatever else as much as you want to.
The entire purpose of Add-ons is to help you, after all.

i'm starting to rely on spine chill far too much. it's becoming an issue, tbh. i need to start relying on ally health state changes to determine what the killer's doing and use that to know when to hide so i can get a different terrible crutch perk that i didn't know i needed but suddenly can't play without.

I can't play Nurse without the Fragile Wheeze addon. The base blink cooldown speed is awful for me.

Can't play without Ace in The Hole. Items without add-ons are disgusting

No-one expects a Padded Jaws Trapper to win. Not even the most ignorant of survivors. And certainly not myself. So, playing without it kind of feels like taking training wheels off.

It depends on the killer, some are more addon dependant that others. For example the new nurse, you can't play without the recharge addons, unless you hate and want to punish yourself 🤣

barbeque and chili.
I physically cannot play the game if I don't get double bps per match as it doesn't feel rewarding at all and I feel like I'm wasting my time in square.

I can't play survivor without Kindred. Too much information, I feel blind without it.

Oh okay I actually get that. If I've had a few rough games I'll usually play terror radius wraith with dumb perks bc if I win it's a nice confidence boost and if I lose it doesn't matter at all bc what else should I expect
