Felix is an architect, him, maybe? Claudette is smart. Bill, probably. Ash has a car. I think that's all. Survivors learn how to repair gens after their earth lives so all they need is ability to learn and read. So maybe Caveman is too much, but some cowboy survivor could definitely be a thing

And the killer could be a cursed knight that was banished from the castle and he wants to get revenge on the king So he kills everyone in the kingdom except for the prince/princess and that's when the entity takes the prince/princess & the knight

I'd ironically would think an ancient Egyptian survivor would work then as they did invent the first known steam engine even if they mistook it as being a mere toy.
Imagine playing the creator of said engine whom the entity took before he could spread his findings of its real practicality.
