Why Can’t Survivors Just Leave?
Why do you have to stand at the exit gate constantly tbagging? Oh wow. You managed to do all the gens in a huge map like shrine against Clown and get away? That deserves to rub it in the Clown’s face. I like the fact most of the these on here complain about facecamping and tunneling but the minute those exit gates open being nice and civil goes out the window. Time to tbag and be a dickweasel to the killer. Even if he didn’t tunnel or camp.

They wanna mock you, happens to every killer.
Just don't give them the satisfaction and don't go near the gates. Sucks because they ALWAYS stay there waiting for you to come, I suppose it bothers them if you don't pay them attention, my endgames always last the full duration because of this, they stay in the gates waiting for me so they can t-bag me and since I never even get near it they wait until last second to leave.
BHVR should make Blood Warden part of the game and not some useless perk. If a survivor crouches repeatedly more than 5 times then boom, they can't leave.
It's funny though how nobody teabags a Deathslinger in the gates. (They instead teabag you after every missed shot)

I always stay in the match because I wanna give a killer a hit, I don't teabag at the gates because I think it's unsportsmanlike.

Well stop it. We barely get any points and half of the survivors are just fishing for WGLF stacks or at-bag session.

Honestly, I generally hang by the gate for one of two reasons:
(1) You're close to me so I want to get that little BP bump I get when you hit me while I'm on my way out (this bumps your BP a bit too)
(2) I'm waiting to see if the other survivors are going to make it, or if they need a last minute save.
If you come into the exit area, it's basically 100% guaranteed I'll leave.

2) Giving the killer some final hits. Yeah it's not alot, but extra bp is always nice.

Why would the killer wanna waste his time and walk from one corner of the map to the other for a "Free hit"? I assume if the killer never comes to engage with your toxicity you just stay there making him waste time until the endgame timer ends?

i'll leave when the timer is low because that's when I assume the killer won't even come. I went against a trickster and I tried giving him a free hit not even close to the edge of the gate and he just stood there. Why am I being called a toxic survivor for trying to be nice??? It seems like you think survivors in general are all toxic.

- your suppose to act like someone trying to escape a killer but fearlessly wait provokingly so you can get a lil spanking before you leave
- the points you “gift” the Killer are a huge waste of time that the Killer could have gotten much sooner if you would just end the game.
- this is not the equivalent to Killer gifting hatch.
Killer isn’t getting a 1k bump from your action. Your wasting time and disrespecting the Killer. If you wanna be nice, then leave or sit by a hook and get killed.

Your statement is incorrect. I don't feel pity when I let killers hit me, and I don't feel diminished when a survivor lets me hit them. Dunno where this "pity" comes in during your games. It's a sportsmanlike gesture. Like a "gg" lineup at the end of a game. If you feel "pitiful" about it, then perhaps that's an internal issue rather than an external one.

Teabagging has been done for years in games to show that someone is better than another. It was very prominent in Halo 3. God, I love that game. It's the same here. Show's the person is better than another. Never changed.

While I can see people waiting to give a free hit for the killer. What survivors need to understand is that this is the minority. Most just tbag and then dead hard away. So now Killers generalize all survivors wanting to do this. Honestly, I would find it more respectful if you just immediately left. I don’t care much for free hits but I do care about you prolonging the match. The match is over. Just leave so we can both go into another match.

as survivor, i just leave as soon as i know my teammates are safe. otherwise i feint being in the trial to cause what little confusion i can for those going for hooks. if all 4 people are at my gate i'm just leaving, and i personally hate when people just start teabagging around the exit. for those people i hope this video happens to them

From my experience most people who teabag are actually really bad at the game and extremely loud. I always tunnel or camp whoever did some teabagging and there isn't a single time they don't die extremely fast and proceed to cry a lot in the chat.
There is a reason none of the pro players out there teabag.

I never said the people who did it are great, but that they want to show they're better at the game than another. I've seen a few get slaughtered by doing it since they don't have enough time to throw pallets but I've also seen killers', including me, get rammed by some damn good survivors who teabag at each pallet. Teabagging also is great for the game because it creates 2 things. 1. Distraction from another survivor and 2. Keeps the killers' attention on you if you don't want them going towards a gen that might be nearby. It serves multiple purposes in this game but in Halo, it was always about dominance.

Everything that bothers you about this game you have to claim to bhvr they are the true ones responsibles, if they do not care that a killer feels miserable that even after you lost you still have to deal the bulling of the survivors at the gate. In general, in most of the games that I have dedicated my time, I cannot think of how the game can be improved because almost always have everything, but with this game I can think of many things to improve and I don't need a master mind to know it.

I do not have a bias against survivors. I play both. When I know the rest of my team is safe I immediately leave cause I know how it feels. Granted if the killer camped or tunneled then I stay and tbag. An insult for an insult. I can’t tell you how many times everyone is at the gate and I just leave while the others just stay to be toxic and whatnot. I just find it very unsportsmanlike. Survivors moan and whine about camping and tunneling but then a ton of them tbag and click their flashlights at you at the exit gate. It’s ok for them but it’s a no no for killers.

My point was never about the intention. I agree, obviously survivors think they are doing something positive for the killer, and I for one, applaud the attempt of showing respect.

It's just how people are in this game. Survivors lose because killer tunnels or camps and they're so toxic, yet when they go against a killer who isn't that great it's tbagging at every pallet and clicking their flashlights.
Same for killer to they deal with the tbaggers and then complain how they're toxic, then they go against a bunch of solos playing normally and they dominate and they're hitting them on the hook or leaving them to bleed out. It's all just a vicious cycle.

I don't find playing DBD to be an intense activity. I did, however, imply that you may have a fundamental misunderstanding of the intent of a leisure activity.
Additionally, if you believe that someone playing a game in a relaxed state would be potentially hurtful to people, than I might suggest that you find a more sensical definition of the word. We need to work from common definitions in order to have good discussions, and your usage here creates an implicit definition so broad that it makes the word virtually meaningless.

why are you focusing so much on how serious one might take DbD. You want to say “it’s just a game bro” but in a proper and sophisticated manner? Okay, I’ll agree this is a game, I’ll even agree that your free to play the game as “intensely” as you want.
I merely presented my viewpoint that gifting a hit to the killer at the door isn’t ‘nice’ and despite intentions from the survivor, I view it as toxic and I tried to clearly state my opinion as clearly as possible.
Not sure what your doing. At first you brought up your viewpoint about it being a sign of respect, comparing it to sportsmanship and you’ve quickly devolved the conversation to the point where you....what, vaguely point out that I should start defining every word I use so you can more clearly “own” me?

As a survivor, I rarely teabag. Certainly not during a match at pallets. The few times I have is when the Killer has been a hardcore camper and tried to tunnel me down. It's sort of saying "Despite your scumbag tactics, I escaped".
As for experiencing teabaggers at the gates when I play Killer, I went ahead and equipped Blood Warden + NOED. I once had a glorious match with a cocky SWF, far outranking me, and they were teabagging at the gate while one of their friends died on the hook. They were pretty shocked when I advanced on them and and oop! can't escape :(. lol

I experienced such a situation but from the survivor standpoint. I'm a low rank survivor (brown ranks) but the game we had featured a relatively inexperienced Hillbilly as well and they struggled throughout the match. No hooks, only 2 hits all game long.
Then EGC hit as a lone survivor opened one of the gates. I regroup with the other 3 survivors and we open the other gate without any issue.
All three of us are standing in the corridor leading out. The other lone survivor already escaped. So naturally, I leave since there are no more stakes to the match at all.
Afterwards, I spectate to see one of the survivors doing gestures at the other (who was a Elodie), pressuring her to stay in order to waste the killer's time. So they just loaf around the exit gate, luring the killer in order to mess with him. It worked... for a while.
But Elodie was poorly moving around, wandered too far away from the exit itself and got in the receiving end of a chainsaw. The survivor who pressured her to stay sprang into action... by sprinting through the exit.
I was pretty mad at the other survivor for allowing this to happen. You had one job people. One job. At least I hope this Elodie will no longer heed people into playing around with the killer during the end game.
