Generator explosion at repair completion

Right when I finished repairing a generator, it exploded from what I assume was from the other survivor missing a skill check. However, depending on the timing, shouldn't the generator have either lost progress and not been completed right away, or the generator should have been completed and then there shouldn't have been an explosion because it was completed by then? This was on PC.

That happened to me also, a skill check popped up right as the gen was being finished and automatically blew up when the gen was complete. Must be a weird bug

I've had this happen when a skill check pops up at same time gen finishes. It's weird timing bug.

I don't think this is a bug per se. The timing is pretty specific, you were finishing a gen as they missed the skill check so the gen was completed but the blowing up effect still took place but there was no time for the regression to take place as you completed the gen.

Right, but as long as the gen is finished before the skill check failure, it shouldn't blow up either. It should be coded so the blow noise and the regression are simultaneous.
