Do you have hope for this years anniversary?
We all know the last chapters we've had weren't great, atleast, 2 of em weren't.
Descend Beyond was great, no complaints about it
Binding Of Kin was bad, the only good part was the music and the concept of The Twins itself
All-Kill was good, not great, but good.
Resident Evil chapter is- oh right, that's the next chapter.
So do you have hope for this years anniversary, they said they'll be focusing on this one more, and if last years anniversary was supposedly good then I have some hope for it.
And cmon, its a licensed chapter AND it's RE, GoobyNugget.

A little. The Devs have set the bar really low with the last two chapters and the last several "events" if you can call them that. They promised that the Anniversary and Halloween will have their full focus, so they better come up with more than just token cosmetics. I want new game play mechanics and maybe a new holiday event.
I want something like how Blizzard did with pre-expac releases, such as when zombies attacked places before Wrath of the Lich King came out. I know it's a different game, but you get the idea.

I just want it be good, unique, maybe a new game mechanic here and there, but something to make up for the 'chapters', and "events"

I have a good amount of hope. It seems mclean was really excited about this (I think).
The devs did great on silent hill, I'm sure they will do well on this licensed chapter as well. And RE is a huge franchise so I think we will be seeing their best work.
I just don't understand why they don't put this effort into the other chapters or fixing the game.

Tbh I’ve loved every chapter except All-Kill. The twins are so unique and love having them in the game.

The Silent Hill chapter was the 1st I was around for as an active player, and it was awesome. Descend Beyond was solid as well. The last two ... eh ... 😕
That said, I'm excited for the RE chapter and what it brings. If it matches SH's quality, I'll be very happy.

I have a feeling it'll be pretty good if its anything like the Silent Hill chapter. Plus I'm just a massive Resident Evil fan so I'm having a hard time tempering my excitement.

I'm actually loving the All-Kill chapter. while still some issues trickster is a blast to play and pretty strong as long as survivors don't exploit his weaknesses. so yeah tbh I'm pretty excited for the anniversery. not counting the days or anything like that but pretty exited what they will do with RE

Most chapters on release have been questionable purely due to the devs wanting to release it to get console statistics. Even though in most cases, there is enough feedback to already fix/start fixing 95% of the issues.
Heck, even Descent Beyond and Silent Hill were quite bad on release. Descent Beyond might have been amazing for killers, but old Undying was too powerful, it could carry green rank killers to a point where they could face the average red ranks. Which is terrible overall.

The way i see it, if you can't have hope for this one, you can't have hope for any events anymore.
Which is a you-do-you case, but i have hope to some degree for this one.

3x the bloodpoints by default for the year. That's what I REALLY want.

No limited codes preferably no codes at all still one of the dumbest additions to the game outside of blood point codes of course. I'm guessing it'll be pretty basic and obvious background changed to Resident Evil,new killer, new survivor or two, along with anniversary cakes and hopefully they work on release this time.

Yes. I suspect that one of the reasons the Twins, the midchapter, and parts of All Kill were broken was because they had already shifted some of the talent into working on the anniversary chapter in order to not screw it up and to make sure BHVR and Capcom are mentioned in the same sentence in a positive manner.

I’m not a big Resident Evil fan, but the Silent Hill chapter was pretty fantastic. I’d like to think that the next Anniversary chapter will hopefully follow in the footsteps of the previous one!

Yes. I'm usually very doubtful, But I'm a big fan of Resident Evil so it's kind of hard to keep my expectations low for this one.
