A filter is great, but forcing it on people is extremely arrogant. No I don't mean update it to have a better filter, I want 0 filter when I see post game chat, I like being able to read whatever I want not having a VIDEO GAME COMPANY tell me what is okay and not okay for me to see.

    Agreed. Too heavy handed moderation / censorship. If people don't want to deal with that kind of stuff then they can tick that checkbox. We're not kids that need our language moderated 24/7 in-game.

    Not to mention how it blocks completely innocuous words or even killer names and game terms lol.

    The chat filter was a good idea on paper, but like a lot of good ides on paper was terrible once actually done.

    It filters so many non-offensive words and phrases. It just doesn't work.

    The chat filter needs to be taken away, removed. Like it was before it was added. Just gone. And instead all games just start with end game chat closed. If you don't want any interaction there, you don't have it. But if you do want to talk you can just open it up and close it when someone gets crazy.

    The main source of toxicity in the game is not from the chat, I'm not saying there isn't any in chat but it is not the main source of it. Filtering chat in this game is like Japanese porn censoring: Slapping a little censor bar at the tip of a bellend isn't going to hide the fact that it is indeed a bellend and pound signing out bad words isn't going to prevent me from knowing bad words were said, just which ones.

    So, Pretty Good Job So Far on the chat filter there devs. Please stop. Please just do better.
