When the people who are really, really good at a killer refuse to play with the add-on combo, you know it's broken. Iri + Infantry Belt was one of those combos, and it was one that people who play both sides largely agreed that needed to be changed. I faced a Huntress running that last night and got a reminder of it pretty quick.
The fix was somewhat uninspired -- I mean, they could have just done this a while back, or they could have changed it to something completely different instead -- but it will at least force a Huntress running Iri head now to be accurate with their throws to avoid constant reloading.

I've watched Lord Tony on Twitch and he takes this game seriously. Can't speak for Sluzzy on that front, but I like to give the benefit of the doubt.

Don't give Sluzzy the benefit of the doubt. Also, just because Lord_Tony takes the game seriously on Twitch does not mean he is posting seriously on here. From my point of view, he intentionally turned himself into bizarro Sluzzy. This isn't about them taking the game seriously or not seriously. Both simply are intentionally choosing not to take posting on these specific forums seriously. You give them both too much credit.

The common argument is "iri head OP" with little evidence. If a good Huntress uses it, you'll lose, but a good Huntress will dominate your team in solo queue-and sometimes even SWF-any day of the week. The only problem it caused was carrying bad Huntress players. But even then, some players are too bad to benefit from the addon. I played a game on Friday where a Huntress got more downs with NOED (6) than she did with iri head (2).
Either way, I think everyone can agree that the nerf iri head received was lazy as hell.

Iri head was broken. Especially with infantry belt. IMO that combo as huntress made the game boring.

I love how you not only ignore all of the counterplay that is not only proven to exist but often forces her to chase down survivors to go for a back hatchet, essentially making her a 110 m1 killer, but you also pretend that Oak Haft doesn't exist and isn't one of her strongest addons.
