Anyone else opening chests more with the universal better chests?
I have been opening chests more along with my teammates and survivors I play against this patch due to the better chest drops make them more worth while.
Its been rather fun and has in some cases made the game more dynamic because what the survivors have will change more often in game allowing more variety in each game.
I honestly would like to see this chest rarity increase stay baseline and plunderer's being changed to always make a green item or better drop from the first chest along with making it even more likely to get a green or above item from all chests.

Better chest drops? All my chests have been only giving me brown or yellow items even with an full item hunting build. Don't know what you are talking about.

I’d actually like if they had better chest drops. Would encourage more side objectives

Too many keys are showing up. As a survivor I prefer to get out via gens.
Also, I'm very surprised survivors aren't spamming the hatch location offerings given how common keys are lately

A lot of people are reporting a lot higher quality drops this patch and most noticeably keys.
I like the better normal items are dropping and so have others as my red rank games have survivors opening nearly all the chests and most have yellow/green items in them.
I don't like how many keys are dropping but that's more of an issue of why are keys in there to begin with.

Oh yeah. I've burned all the coin offering I had saved up. Anybody who says rarity isn't bugged is eating paint. I've doubled the number of keys I have from escaping with them.

I ran Plunderer’s for 5 games in a row last night, opened every chest and didn’t find a single key. The best I got was one purple medkit but otherwise it was yellow and brown items with the occasional green. Doesn’t feel like chests are any different to me.

On a serious note, I do love the better items, the keys are a bit too much right now though.

You must be either extremely unlucky or the only person not affected by the bug, right now it looks like Survivors have inbuilt Plunderers, Ive been getting much better stuff than usual, same as other Survivors.

Agreed, they should remove keys from chests and keep the item rarity as it is now. And increase chests to at least four, and now you have a second objective survivor will actually go do.

Way more tempting to open chests when every item you get isnt a brown toolbox. Totally agree 100%

Yeah, out of like 12 games i played yesterday i found 7 or so keys(purple or pink). Totally unfair given how keys currently work. Also I'd rather get a med kit or toolbox to help me during the match.

It seems to be that running plunders actually has the reverse effect now. Try it without plunders and you'll probably notice it more

I feel like only one chest should give a key.
The others should be med-kits or tool boxes.
Also, I don't know about anyone else but I find a map pretty useless without add-ons, and I've got broken key from chests before and without add-ons think that's useless too.

I open every chest for those sweet rainbow maps. Also, if everyone is dead or the last other survivor is being chased, I'm definitely looking for a key rather than just trying to find hatch normally.
I was actually collecting stats on the items my girlfriend and I have been finding, while I dont have the numbers on me currently, out of like 100-150 items the grand majority have been purple/pink, with purple being the most common rarity and rainbow maps being the most common item. Yellow and green were about even, and brown had the lowest spawn rates. Also never ran luck offerings or plunders.

I always used to open chests before because getting a yellow fl or medkit was commun and I want fls. Now all I get are good toolboxes, maps and keys. Sometimes purple flashlights but I prefer yellow ones anyways. I wish they changed it so you get more yellow items

I am not sure if this is still in the game. The last days I get yellow Items at max and also brown Items, when the bug appeared at first, I never got brown Items.
I also dont see any Keys pulled from Chests in my games. But can be a coincidence.
In general, I would like higher rarity stuff in Chests. They are not worth to open most of the time, unless you really need a Medkit. Except for Keys, more Items of higher rarity would be nice.
