So if Claire is the alleged survivor... Will the killer be 100% Mr. X? I mean, now I realize a lot of things.
- In the teaser it is seen that an Umbrella Corporation amulet falls, so the killer could be a Tyrant or Albert Wesker himself?
- The shamrocks in the teaser, could it be a reference to the key found in the commissary in RE2 and what is the key that Leon Kennedy brings?
- Felix hanging and with his face covered, obviously Felix has similarity to Leon in appearance.
- Finally, the zombies on the ground, could it refer to the L4D2 event or be part of the killer's power?
As I understand it, the anniversary will leave us with our mouths open, I hope so... A curious fact, the 4th anniversary poster, the number 4 was assimilated with the Pyramid-Head shape and in the end it ended up happening, now with the message of Dead by Daylight X Resident Evil 25 Anniversary ... Oh my god, then maybe the killer is Mr. X? Claire and Leon? The police station map? Would this chapter be based on RE2? I think my anecdote of saying things in the forums sounds stupid, but there are about 30 days to know the truth ...

It's going to be Rebecca for the survivor and the dude with the ultra annoying voice and multiple personality disorder for the killer. You know, the one from the worst game of the series.

I hope to be wrong, Now as I see, having Nemesis, it would be Tier S +++, having Mr. X would be having Myers 2.0, Jack Baker, well, now I have informed a little about him and his lore is super interesting, to attract crowds to his house and dismember them, it's like an unstoppable being, but at the same time is average in RE.

If it were a man and a woman, we should receive more legendary skins for the amount of characters that make up RE, except Alice of course.

Nemesis is the most iconic villain from RE and the most terrifying. I do hope its him, he have plenty of resources for the devs to make his power, from rocket launchers, miniguns, flamethrowers to tentacles, parasites and can mutate.. While Mr X just follow you around and regenerates/mutate not very special.

It would be a dream to play Nemesis and I am 100% sure that he is also, to unite Pyramid-Head and Nemesis in the same game, it is a huge rivalry even all over the internet, something like Michael and Jason (I hope Jason enters to join him with Michael :( )

Alice might actually happen as a legendary skin, because while they're bad movies, Paul WS Anderson knows how to make an action sequence, and that's pretty much the RE Movies

Im a big fan of both game series too, it has to be Nemesis and probably Jill as survivor, with Carlos if we are lucky.. and if it turns to be that way then i can see Claire and Leon being legendaries.

With Silent Hill, they took the map from the first game, the killer from the second game and the survivor from the third game. Assuming they do the same thing here and base the DLC around the first three classic games, then If Claire is the survivor that would probably rule out T-00, or Mr. X as fans call him even though it isn't his official name. Since RE2 gives us the iconic police station and both Leon and Claire, unless they decide to make the DLC entirely focussed on RE2 which was not what they did with Silent Hill even though it would have been less controversial there I just can't see them giving up Leon, Claire and the police station just to get T-00 in the game. The most likely killer is Nemesis, as he is the true iconic monster of the series and has the most interesting powers, and he defines RE3.
If it were up to me, the DLC would use the police station as the map, Nemesis as the killer and Jill and Leon as the survivors as I feel they're the most iconic and popular of the classic RE characters and it would please fans of both the RE1 and RE2 duos. The DLC would also be more cohesive than the Silent Hill DLC as even though these elements would be pulled from different games they all interact.
I think the only possible hint in the teaser is the hint towards the police station via the symbol from the key. Otherwise the teaser just exists to announce the DLC for Capcom's showcase without spoiling the details and ruining the hype for the DbD anniversary stream. I don't think there is much to analyze there.
If they chose Jill and a male survivor it would probably either be Leon for popularity or Chris because he is her true partner. Carlos would just be a legendary skin. Even with RE3 remake boosting his popularity he just isn't going to be anything but a skin. They would also be pulling too heavily from RE3 if they went with Carlos.

If the entire chapter is based on RE2 and we get Mr. X as the Killer instead of Birkin, I'd be kinda disappointed since he doesn't have much you can do with his power besides just being really strong and he wasn't very scary. Jack has his weapons, Birkin has his first three forms (his fourth and fifth forms are too big to fit in the game), and Nemesis has a crap ton of attacks and weaponry. Now that I think about it I wonder if the zombies are because of Nemesis. Wasn't he the one to infect Brad in the original game?

Yes, Nemesis can infect people, and he infects Jill in RE3 resulting in the player having to play as Carlos and raid the hospital for a cure. I'd make Nemesis as he was in the original game: not absolutely huge, normal movement speed, tentacle ranged attack with infection status ailment and the rocket launcher as a Plague style powerup with the rarity of Myers tier 3.
