Can we have Ghostface fixed pls?

Just had a game with experiences similar to the ones in this video. Revealing him is incredibly inconsistent, sometimes the audio clue doesn't even start while I'm standing in front of him looking at him with no vision obstruction.

Yeah they need to fix that because it's incredibly inconsistent. I just stopped trying to reveal him and if I see him stalking me I just gain as much distance as possible and lose.

Also does Ghostface lose collision when stalking?

The guy is standing almost on top of GF trying to reveal him. He needs to be further away. The moment GF moves off the center of the screen you lose all progress. The first clip sounds like a salty survivor. If he actually played GF like he claimed he would know how to reveal him.

    Couldn't agree more.

Sometime you're sitting in his face and can't reveal him and sometime there's a LoS blocker and you reveal him. Either situation are equally frustrating for both side.

It's stupidly inconsistent and incredibly aggravating to play him (or as him). As him, it seems like a survivor can be on the other side of a house and somehow manage to reveal me. When I'm a survivor, I can stand still and stare him dead in the eyes and the game won't do anything with it.

But it's been like this...it feels like since he came out so I've determined we just kind of have to live with Ghostface rolling a dice to determine if you've revealed him or not.

If I'm close enough to Ghostface that I can give him a prostate exam, I feel like that should be a reveal...

He hasn't collision while stalking, like Myers. But when the survivor runs inside to GF, the killer can't stalk him too. Like Myers....

The first part of the video is pure ignorance of the reveal mechanic on the survivor's part. Thats not how it work and your feelings don't matter on the subject.

The second part is more puzzling, but it actually show 2 things. The "reveal zone" at the center of the survivor screen is larger than you think and slightly oval. Its wider than it is tall.

So in the end its another of thoses video of what not to do against Ghostface.

Judging by they way they play. These people are noobs.

First clip he kept putting ghostface in his reveal center and then kept taking him out. That results in resetting the progress every time. For those that don't know, you need to center ghostface on your screen. After about half a second of him being in your screen THEN the reveal will start. There is a delay to stop ghostface from being revealed from people turning their camera really fast to locate him. In the first clip he was never keeping ghostface in the center for the duration of the delay so the reveal did not start while he was face to face.

The second clip shows you how wide the reveal area is. Obviously the further away ghostface is the easier it will be to keep him inside the reveal area.

TL;DR This guy is a noob with no knowledge of how to reveal ghostface. Just a salty dude.

I wish I had recorded my match. I had him centered on many occasions, and in one in particular we were both looking at each other with no obstacles between us, camera centered at him and he managed to get the full exposed without leaning. During those 5 seconds, the audio clue didn't even start.
