What do you do when you check a streamer....

And they aren't actually streaming? Like 90% of the matches i play against streamers they arent even streaming so i can't watch how i did. (I do like going back in the vod and seeing if like they did something that outplayed me so i can forward my skill) like honestly why put your name out there when your not even streaming at the time? You get nothing from your "blankttv" if you aren't streaming since barely anyone will come by next time you are streaming and say "hey i was the wraith 4 weeks ago" for instance. Just a personal pet peeve of mine. Also even if i streamed personally id never put my name out there with how i see ttvs get treated in some matches. But please actually change your name if your not its like 2 clicks on steam.

I usually say ggs from (whoever I was) and see how they are as a streamer for a second if they are live. If I am interested I will stay a while, but if I am not then I will just leave. I usually just leave.

It's worse when it says "last streamed 1min ago"

I typically look to see if they're streaming. If they are I pause the stream and go about the game. Then after it's over I go back to see what they're saying and maybe rewatch the match from their perspective.

If the person isn't streaming I don't mind much. Because if they are streaming and I enter their chat they usually tell me to ######### off and throw a small collection of colourful insults at me, not necessarily in that order, before either ending their stream or banning me.

Give someone a camera and suddenly the universe revolves around them...

TTV or YT in your name is cringe AF. You want followers do it the old fashioned way (be entertaining and have a positive community)

I have nearly 0 interest in checking those streams. There's been one exception where a survivor was exceptionally kind to a really poor performance of mine, so I viewed his site and gave a compliment to them. Otherwise, it's not that I see them in a negative way; I just have no real desire to.

Same. Most TTV names have only like 5 viewers anyway.

It's pretty wild how many SWF complain about stream sniping when it really wasn't. I'd bet less than 10% of the times people complain about stream sniping it's actually stream sniping.

    Oh lordy this.

I get accused of stream sniping occasionally. My response is always,

    "Who are you?"

If it's a really popular one like scottjund or Tofu I might rewatch the match. But for all the other 6783 random ttv nobodies I don't bother because I don't care.

I dislike streamers, they always accuse, threaten to report, saying this guy is lame etc and all kind of insults onto me. If i see them i facecamp them to death

I dislike sellouts, people who put ttv on their name to get attension

i had a streamer the other day saying "This must be a man, only man does it like this"

They always seem to be quite rude, showing off for their viewer I guess.

I checked a VOD last night of game I was Killer in, the streamer was running stretched res, what that makes my precious Trickster look like is a crime!

The stream snipe accusations become even funnier.

Had that earlier today from a yt person who didn’t even look around for a stealth killer or try to run after he hit a ds (only reason I went at them was I saw them self are and thought it was deactivated a free hooks a free hook) who just sends me a sarcastic message I mean they had time to run or play smart they don’t

As a small streamer, I put ttv to help my channel grow. It's just little, come check me out. Also, looking through the comments. Not all the streamers are triggered lunatics who take the game too seriously. Whenever I play against a wholesome ttv, they usually have a lot more viewers and followers meanwhile the former is barely pulling in 2 views.

Once I watched a game where I managed to 3k give one a hatch. It was interesting to watch them go against me because I played toxic as hell. I think they had 2 gens done and I didn't even get a single hookstate or something like that, I tunneled the absolute hell out of one, ate the decisive, just got him out of the game.

Then I made a real nasty 3 gen and played super defensive, the game took like 30 minutes.

It was interesting watching them and their perspective. We talked, I apologized, "Yo matchmaking was playing a dirty game with me you four were WAY out of my league and being a dick was the only way I could even get a single kill. I didn't expect it to snowball like that."

They invited me to play survivor with them later. I never took them on it but I kinda wish I did.

Exactly. In may case, this guy was hooked in basement at endgame. He then...called me a camper? Like what am I supposed to do?

IKR it’s endgame that’s legit play dirty so you don’t depict time
