Killer shack stairs issue

Anyone having issues picking up downed survivors on the stairs of the killer shack? They crawl against the sides and then I’m unable to pick them up round after round. Any thoughts?

    As survivor if I'm running up/down stairs too close to the wall there are parts that will stop me from moving that I have to go around. Have even hit them when dropping down - it's like I landed on a little ledge. I wouldn't be surprised if that invisible wall is what the downed survivor is able to crawl under and make it so they can't be picked up.

    You also can't hit them downwards in stairs, it's been bugged from a while and the Devs don't give a f. Yet another bug on this bug mess of a game that we love and hate in a strange relationship.

    I had this issue. Just stood there swinging at the downed Cheryl halfway up the stairs. I had to leave, let Bill pick her up, then go back in for a second down.

    Make sure you are exactly on top of the survivor; same ground level. The game won't allow you to pick up if you're slightly above or below them.

    YES That happened to a survivor I downed the other day. It's not that they crawl next to the stairs, but if you down them and they fall in a certain way, you can not pick them up. If half if their body goes through the stairs, it won't let you pick them up.
