I Do Not Enjoy Red Rank Players

From both the Killer and Survivor side. Everyone plays so aggressive and tryhard right from the start. It’s just not a fun experience. Especially if said red rank is twitch killer. Which it seems I get a lot. And if they are survivor then they are just toxic to the killer for da viewers . I’m rank 10 as survivor and rank 14 as Killer and I’m constantly getting red ranks. I’m sure a lot of you red ranks are cool and chill dudes but the ones I’ve encountered are all overly sweaty and it’s just not a fun match, just kinda miserable honestly. Plus, past 8 or 9 at night where I’m from the game is basically unplayable cause that’s all the players I seem to get.

I somehow make it to rank 1 consistently even though I honestly belong in green. Currently I’m just running Up the Ante and Slippery meat for Kobe’s. Nothing fancy just playing to have fun and help the randoms out. Bond and we’re going to live forever in case someone needs a bodyblock and I have an extra hook state left in me.

Just find what you find fun and contribute to the team. Stealth it out if you have to and maybe try a plunderers/medic build. Whatever floats your boat.

On top of that a lot of red ranks just run SWF too. Which makes it worse.

The current speed of the game really doesn’t allow either side to play “lax” at the beginning of matches. Once momentum is lost it can be difficult to get back. You can try and blame the players, but the devs design the way the game is played. Just like anything else in life, it’s pretty foolish to do things inefficiently.

the devs have to adjust the speed of the game. Simple as that.

Honestly, the bloodpoint ranking was a better system but I guess soon ranks won't really matter.

I find looping the killer, pallet stun, flashlight save, hide when killer is very near and don't get found, is very fun. Holding m1 while camping gens is not fun.

Red ranks are no different from green ranks, the ranking in this game is a joke. I see one person who's upset in the end game chat in like 1 out of 20 games and I've been a consistent rank 1 for almost 3 years now on both sides.

Another thing to add, there's a difference between a good and a bad survivor simply running in a straight line

The bad survivor may waste some time but won't utilize it to its full potential, and most likely won't know how to use DH (usually they try to bait a hit)

A good survivor will know when to stop just "holding W" and finally run to a safe tile since they probably know almost perfect distances and know what they can and can't reach and use DH for extra distance. Its why you also see some good survivors run Lithe nowadays.

Press E to win. A dumb ass perk. U think it should only work when pairing with no mither

"Overly sweaty"? They just want to win what's wrong with that?

Now play normal killers other than spirit and keep that mentality.

I have gone to all ranks numerous times(I normally pick a killer to learn go from rank 16 to rank 1 then depip back down by just doing stupid memes or trying to find space billy spots then once I get to 16 again I pick another killer that intrests me and do the exact same thing) and I normally float around purple/green when Im not trying to get rank 1 and whenever I get to red I try to depip out of it by playing like BK myers or basement defender bubba. Games just get to sweaty up there and everyone feels so entitled also like no build variety at all.

Playing to win in DbD is sweaty. Playing for fun is toxic. The people who say they don't wanna play to win get called toxic for playing with friends/killers they enjoy and goofing off. The players who don't want to goof off get called sweaty because they won and beat the other side.

And the cycle repeats itself. And then there's a few people outside of the cycle that just play the game and don't complain about what their opponents or teammates do and those people are cool.

I agreed. İm 10 rank at the survivor and sometimes red ranks my teammates. They have big ego and always.

They accuse you of your mistakes. I just got a hate e-mail. this is very funny. my killer is 16 ranks and I don't think to advance. Playing with purple and red ranks is not fun. Since the aim of this game is to have fun, its killer is always close to 20 keep it in ranks. And thanks to these hatemails, I think I'll have to throw Survivor back. they are just like the GTA Tryhard. and they are never fun and sympathetic .

No perk variety whatsoever in reds...it's always the same pool of eight perks out of almost a hundred for each role which is kinda stale and lame honestly. You'd think with all the complaints of queue times, people would want to maximize their BP gains while they can (the grind in this game is horrendous) but instead aim for a three minute match and acting like what they did is super impressive. Personally stay in yellow or green ranks so I have a chance to enjoy myself and test new perk synergies. Just wish matchmaking would actually work and create balanced games.
