The reason most play Killer is bloodpoints

Killer isn't fun. It gets worse and worse the higher you rank up. Playing a weak Killer against top tier Survivors is literally a machoistic bully simulator.

So why do most people play it? Bloodpoints. When you're good at Killer you can realistically get 28-32k points every game plus all four BBQ Stacks without doing literally anything or having to play around the perk at all for +100%.

56k to 64k. Not counting offerings is pretty standard for a good Killer.

Survivors that are decent can maybe get an average of 20k bloodpoints per match, with a lot more variance because its heavily based on their team and the killer so its less in their control. WGLF is an average to mediocre perk that's more niche and less game changing than Unbreakable. Also, unless you're soft throwing for stacks, its relatively unlikely you'll get all four WGLF stacks every match through normal gameplay. Two or Three is way more likely for +50-75%.

33k (ish). Not counting offerings is pretty standard for a good Survivor.

People still play Survivor despite this bloodpoint difference, but would people still play Killer if they got drastically less bloodpoints? I highly doubt it.

I disagree as well. Sometimes killer is too much and I only do dailies or for bp... but then I get bored of holding W or m1.... so soloQ is hell then I get burst of wanting to play killer.

    it’s a cycle lol

While it's suck to not get BP for being chased for 5gen, I don't want to give free BP to immerse player and those who don't do anything.

Are you the judge of someone else's fun? Darn, I didn't get the memo.

I always play the other once I get tired of one side. It is incredibly unhealthy since it never ends.

I play killer because it's fun, the sweet sweet bp is just a nice bonus :)

I dont really need bloodpoints anymore and i still play killer. Killer is fun, but i know its sometimes a frustrating experience. But i never forced myself to play killer for bloodpoints.

You are wrong. I would only play killer if my connection wouldn't travel back in time to early-2000-levels every evening.

Depends whether I want a chill game or a sweaty game tbh. If I’m in the mood for just relaxing I’ll play survivor, have a cuppa and a rollie while I chill on a gen, run around in circles a bit. If I’m more hyped and awake I’ll hop on killer and sweat a bit.

The reason I play killer is I don't want to sit in a queue for literally 20 minutes.

Speak for yourself, killer is fun. "Most" according to who? To this echo chamber of a forum?

I find killer more relaxing than solo queue tbh. When I have annoying teammates match after match, I’ll just play killer for the rest of the day.

I like to play with my friends so I play survivor more than killer but I still enjoy playing killer when in by myself. I'm not particularly great at it but I think it's still fun. Besides it's much easier to bully players as the killer than the survivors.

I mean your faster and the only things they can do to do you, flashlight saves pallet stuns etc can all be avoided if you are wary about them. Usually I get hit with the first one theb work on avoiding the rest.

I could see it like: you get objective points if someone pops a generator while you are in a chase for more than X seconds.

I've got a Claudette today who ran the Killer for five generators. She did an amazing job, and I felt sorry she didn't get objective nor altruism points. She probably got a -1 because she didn't do "a lot".

But the match I've got a Kate who hide behind a tree the whole game (I was running Bond and Open-Handed at this time), I surely don't want to give her BP. I went to her and use the "come with me" emote. She followed me to the generator, touch it and went back to the corner behind the tree. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Of course, she camped the hatch at the end. She probably got -1 too for doing nothing, but Claudette who ran the Killer for five generators deserved more.

Although it's damn satisfying to get so many bloodpoints after a relaxing killer match, I don't play killer for bloodpoints unless I really need them, I play it to relax and have fun.

Blight and Trickster are also surprisingly good for farming bloodpoints.

You get a good amount of bloodpoints from lethal rush hits which also rewards you with hit points, and you get 1k bloodpoints from getting a supreme combo with trickster, and points from combos in general with hit points. Oh and Blight gets good value outta BBQ.

How often do you go against top tier survivors? Most of the survivors I get when playing killer are casuals. Therefore, my killer experience has been quite enjoyable. Just yesterday, I've played about 17 killer games and I 4ked every match except for the one I got keyed out. Also, the faster que times allow you to actually play the game.

I only play killer nowadays because the daily rituals lock me into killer matches eventually. Sorry to all the brown rank survivors I don't belong here please don't hate me for what I can't control.

I just play Killer because it's fun. It can be tremendously frustrating at times but then again, so can solo que.

I agree on the killer experience being horrible, but a good survivor can get as much points (if not more) as a killer.

So it's not the points that make people play killer.

Im a killer main who plays since the game's launch and i asure you that i dont play for points, nor ranks.

    I play to 4K every match, if i don't 4K i consider it as a loss.

I also enjoy reading salty comments on my profile, they make my day and thats what im really looking for when i play killer.
