Hey I'm angry here's a rant

I just waited 20 minutes to get into a game just to have it end in 10. Bully SWF squad looped and genrushed the killer until they ragequit and then bullied them in the chat afterwards

It's so common and it makes me think; do you guys know why the que times are long? It's not just because the matchmaking system sucks, it's also because you spend your entire game bullying someone into submission and then complaining when they fight back.

You bully squads have so little self awareness and then you complain about the game as if it's your ######### life while treating everyone around you like dirt.

I know it goes both sides, but just

Come on, guys.

    That's if they leave...

Most of them stay just to bully the crap out of others no matter what,

Or they just come back to the game and just wait till they're rank 20..

    makes the game even worse

Most games average 10 minutes, so that sounds about right. As for the bullying, if you take the bait, then it's your fault for staying and engaging with said bullies.

You know my advice. Jus play your game as you see fit. You can win or lose it does not matter. Just play your game and ignore all the factors like gens, speeds, SWF and etc... When you dont think about them you will see that you are playing better and you are having more fun. People always enjoy bullying each other and likes insults. If you win you will be insulted and if you lose you will be insulted. Just ignore the people and play your game. At the end chat dont even read it most of the time and either writes "GG or ggs" or write nothing and skip. Dont spent your time to fight with them and spent your time with them. Just get your killer, play your game and you will be fine. That is all the advice I can give you.

You're still taking the bait and making excuses. You're the killer, right? Survivors can't back you into a wall in-game and keep you from playing. You do your best to kill them and when the match is over, leave. If they try to harrass your gaming profile, then that's a different story as they can be reported.

Are the flashlights bothering you or the t-bagging? Any other miniscule, annoying survivor tactics getting to you? As I said, just do the best you can and once the match is over, close the chat box, and leave onto the next match.

10 minute match is pretty standard actually

5-8 minutes is short 8-12 is normal and 12+ is long

My personal solution to getting bullied and gen rushed. I just go stand in a corner and face a wall. No more Chase points no more blinding points or stuns, just finish the game you want over so quickly and get get out.

saves me from getting angry and rage quitting. and they get done what they really wanted to do.

I wish I'd pulled them. Schooling Bully Squads is my favorite thing these days.

What is bullying in this game?

Because I've noticed many people think doing gens is bullying, outsmarting the killer during a chase is bullying, taking hits for other teammates is bullying. At this point I am not sure what this community defines bullying in a videogame, when there is actual real bullying out there in the world.

Knowing how to play the game better than someone else does not make you a bully. That is just a fact.

On the topic of streamer bullies.

My assumption on why I think people try to bully or BM streams is an inferirority complex, one that disgusts me to be frank.

They wont say it or admit it but Im sure thats what it is. Maybe they're not even concious of it.

"Wow how dare they stream a game they like."

"Wow streamer with what? 2 viewers pft they must think they're hot *bad words*"

But then the inverse is also true, streams that are out to be toxic for views. Because lets be real, thats what draws the views.

I was showin' chat as why trickster is still bad post-buff. lol i tried to stay calm since i hate using trickster

Plus i like to show people that you don't always have to camp / tunnel to win,

You can play very Aggressive. Or passive,

Even though i rage bout dbd here and there. i still wanna show people that even a Wholesome boi can still "Attempt" to have fun =D

    my advice is to

    1. main nurse or spirt
    2. git gud with nurse or spirt
    3. git 4ks every match so that that even if they are toxic to you you can just laugh at them

This is why I complain about being spawned in so close to the killer, which is happening on a regular basis now.

I've never waited 20 minutes for a game - I wouldn't unless I was also doing something else, something worth focusing on during the wait - but I HAVE had queues of around 5-7 minutes, which already feels like forever. Then another minute to wait for the inevitable idiot who insists on running out the lobby clock (there's always at least one, I guess that's the rule), then almost another minute to load the actual match. That's around ten total minutes of waiting.

Then boom, no matter what direction I go or how I go about trying to get there, the killer is on me within 20 seconds or less. I recorded a match just two days ago where I and the other teammates were against the exit gate in Gideon's, and could only go forward, and by the time we left the room - six seconds - Freddy was already around the corner coming to get us. Six seconds.

I guess I just don't know where these SWF squads are because I play solo survivor all the time and in a 4 hour game play session the killers win 90 percent of the matches. Albeit, I do not measure a win by just exiting the gates. To me if I keep my pips/rank that's a win for me and I always say gg even when I lose . Many times though when I am lucky enough to find the hatch the killer usually has something smart to say as if they are pissed they didn't get that 4K,,,like 3K is never good enough. Had a match the other night with a Plague and I was luck enough to get the hatch last minute and did my usual gg,,,and all I got back was a slew of toxic comments. There is just a lot of babies in adult bodies playing and you just have to ignore them,, do not feed the beast. This game is great as is,,,if we can just have everyone play respectfully it would be even that much better.

Everything you're saying is valid. I completely agree with you: Survivor or killer, win or lose, I don't care. I just want to have fun, chill and enjoy the game as it's intended, and play matches long enough to mathematically NOT be a waste of my time.

In the case of being annoyed by the toxic sociopaths, I know that it's not easy to just "flip a switch" and not b bothered by them. They suck, they DO ruin games, and when you sit and stew on it and think about how ######### it is that they're ruining games, the angrier you get. I know the feeling. There's an area near my house where punk teenagers gather and rev up their engines, play loud bass music, etc., sometimes well until 2 or 3 in the morning. This is a neighborhood. They have no reason to be doing this. They're allowed to, because they have permission from the owner of the lot to be there. They just aren't supposed to causing a disturbance, so when they do, cops are called. The cops - who are probably related to half the kids in this stupid little town - simply swing through for 30 seconds, ask them to tone it down, and drive off. This happens a dozen times a month, nothing ever changes. No tickets are given, nothing stops it. In the summer of 2018 I literally had something akin to a nervous breakdown because of this. It wasn't the noise so much (though that obviously bothered me, especially since I have GAD), it was the principle of it. The simple fact is that these people were showing absolutely no consideration for anyone else, they knew that they were in the middle of a neighborhood and couldn't have cared less if they were annoying anyone else with their behavior. They seemed to get off on it.

Eventually I started to try to teach myself not to be so angry. To tell myself that I can't control what other people do. Rationalize the fact that it happened during a relatively short amount of time during the day. Work against it with headphones or a white noise machine. At first I asked myself "why should I have to be doing any of this? Why is it me that has to make the changes and adapt when I'm not the one doing anything wrong"? But sooner or later - though it took quite a while and to be honest I'm still trying to deal with it - I just sort of came to a form of acceptance. It's just going to happen. By carrying it with me, by knowingly allowing myself to be upset by it, I'm allowing them to ruin my night. Just shut the windows, turn on the fan, turn up the TV, whatever, and try not to think about it. I know it sucks. BELIEVE me, I know it sucks. I know how ######### it is to deal with people who think that they rule the world and shouldn't be expected to behave like decent human beings. It's miserable.

But I heard a good quote one day: Allowing yourself to carry on in anger over someone else's actions is like drinking poison and expecting it to affect the other person. Don't drink the poison. Try to remind yourself that not every game is like that, not every player is a piece of #########, and that if they actually knew you as a person they likely wouldn't be doing such juvenile things. They're just doing it because they're dumb, and the person they're facing isn't a person to them. It's just an anonymous villain who's controlled by some rando behind a computer screen.

What I'm saying is, I share your irritation. Not in this game, but in other walks of life. And while it doesn't eliminate the issue, it does help to try to change your mindset. Try not to take things personally. Try to understand that the human brain doesn't finish development until the mid to late 20s, and most of these people are just young brats who think that the world revolves around them. When they mess with you, just laugh. Laugh knowing that the misery that is adult life will wipe those smug grins off their faces soon enough.
