Where should DBD be heading to?
I think we all can agree DBD for those of us who played early on in 2016 have seen major shifts from the game going to more of an action game rather than horror. What should the Devs do with the game now that its barely horror anymore?

Survival Horror
I don't mind any option as long as it can help the game's health in the long-run.

Honestly same I feel like the game has MPD it does not know if its horror, with tense atmosphere and choices and consequences or just an action game with quick time events and chase scenes. I just want a more definitive playstyle if you want a horror game take the action elements out if you want an action game take the licensed horror icons out. These killers would never be bested like this in their respected franchises. It just does not make sense anymore. I want this game to succeed and hang around but the player base is showing that something is not resonating with streamers and common players alike.

Is this game even horror? Since some people literally have no fear. It's just people running the killer around walls literally. This game used to be more scary.

Kinda my point it’s turned into a weird horror themed action game where you hit half circles watching a bar load or you chase someone you have to sweat to catch and if you do it’s not over til you hook em 3 times so either put the scare back in it or just say it’s an action game lol

I kind of wish was a one hit hit game. So it would be a true horror game again. Since back then when it came out, there was no looping. Everyone would just hide. So people were scared. When bought this game I was imaging everyone was going to be scared, I was going to be this unstoppable individual. But as I found out people make you work to get them.

Yea I uninstalled while DBD figures out what they’re gonna be I thought it was going to be more of a jump scare gotcha game hide and seek rather than “you will never get this you will never touch this lalalala” first remade movies ruin my favorite killers but now video games too when does it end...

Yeah I wish it was more like hide n seek. But it's more of "Hey come chase me, I'm wearing a pink wig, and all bright colors so you can see me" and I'm going be vaulting a window to be annoying. And you can't even play hide n seek since a lot of people don't like it when survivors play like that.

I love the hide and seek portion of it I made a suggestion that survivors start out full blood points and they get reduced by how many mistakes they make like getting hit downed hooked being in a chase too long, or missing skill checks

Like what’re they gonna do if Mr X makes it into the game the dude can legit bust through concrete but a wooden pallet is going to completely stun him the way 6 bullets to the head does...come on man we need some cannon with our franchises

Action
There doesn't seem to be much reason that this game is "less scary" than it was starting out - survivor has probably been getting more difficult lately, now that many of the infinites have been removed. It's just an issue with the individual, as just like ay horror game, the more you play the less scary it gets

I would like to think survival horror but with SWF added it literally broke all aspect of immersion and horror. Turned into more like a circus.
