Wreckers Yard is the worst map
9/10 times when I get this map, the experience is terrible. As survivor, most gens we ever get done is like 1 or 2. Almost always becomes a hatch game on that map. It's just too small with not a whole lot to work with. All Autohaven maps, being a majority green hue, messes with my perception a lot(I know, personal problem).
Yes, it's probably fun as a Killer to not have a lot of surface area to cover but for killers like Legion or high-mobility killers, Wreckers Yard is a playground for them. I just severely dislike this map.

The Game is worse, and Midwich, and Hawkins.

The Game is awful.
Midwich & Hawkins are excellent maps. Some survivors just can't deal with the lack of loops in Midwich and need to understand stealth & awareness should be your priority so pallets aren't all gone early game

3 original realms have 5 different map because there was so little map back then. Today those map without main building (Shelter wood, Coolwind farm, Wrecked yard) should be removed.
At least you have the bus,crane loops in Wrecked yard. Coolwind with tractor. Shelter wood has a single TL wall to loop in late game.

The Game got a little bit more balanced. Midwich, however, is still crap.

I have the same feelings. The map is just the worst and only feels like a map to test new killers and perks on. They should remove the map from rotation and no one would even notice. Even if people noticed the Autohaven map with no main building is gone, most can't even remember the map's name and would shrug it off. At least on a positive note, you wouldn't find threads saying how behavior removed my favorite map Wreckers Yard.

I love this map as a survivor. It is very small, but the tiles are close together so you can find interesting ways to string them together and try to be efficient with pallets and stuff. The only thing I don't like is that it's very easy for a killer to get someone in the basement.

I love Midwich, The Game, and Hawkins. They're something different. Not every map should be a giant, wide-open field.
My least favorite map, by far, is the saloon. I hate the colors, I hate the layout, I hate how exposed everyone is. But hey, the more maps the better. Again, variety.

On the contrary, I LOVE the Saloon. I find myself escaping more on that map. I actually like the coloring hues of the map because they remind me of the Coldwin Farm maps.

That's fair, everyone seems to hate The Game (and the other indoor maps) but me so I know what it's like to love everything about a map that other people don't like. My escape rate is probably 50/50 so it's not that, I just don't like that there's not really much to the map (in my opinion). It doesn't have the mazelike qualities of the indoor maps, and for an outdoor map it's extremely straightforward and not that big. The generators are pretty much always in the exact same spot as well, so the killer always knows where to look. The map has a beautiful skybox but the intense orange and weird contrast ("eye adjustment") that goes on when you go behind some objects is also jarring to me.
It obviously suits the Deasthslinger's theme just fine, and as I said in another thread I'm all for variety. There are 20 Coldwind, Autohaven, MacMillan, and Badham maps for just the one saloon. I'm fine that it's there. It's just literally the only one that I don't really enjoy myself on, regardless of who I'm against. I'm glad you like it though.

Wrecker's Yard is one of the most fair and balanced maps in the game, sorry but I completely disagree with you.

Wreckers yard is fine, the maps that I have problems with are Hawkins due to TERRIBLE loops, and Yamaoka as killer due to the map being HUGE, good loops and vaults, and the bamboo can eat my ass.
