Map rework

Finally the Coldwind update is here. Then it's time to guess the next!

Maps that still needs a rework:

  • Haddonfield
  • Backwater Swamp
  • Red Forest

They just did 5 maps, so I would think that at least 2 of the remaining realms will get a rework next since there are max 2 maps each.

My guess is Backwater and Haddonfield, though I would love to see a Red Forest rework first.

What are your guesses and hopes?

    Lerys already got reworked


    Hawkins is already using the graphics BHVR is trying to push out on all the old maps.


    So its just Haddonfield, backwater and red forest left now

    Lery is the first map reworked. Not getting rework.

    I dont think Hawkins getting a rework, its quite new

    I think Red forest is the next one.

    Haddonfield, despite using objects that already exist in Badham, I feel the balance for that map is nightmare and need to process slowly

    Out of the 3 you listed, I'd like a Haddonfield rework similar to that of Badham where we actually have different variants of the map as well as the overall change.

    Swamp was touched in the past and shrunk. But it still needs a graphical overhaul to make things look less... horrible.

    Red Forest just needs the lighting change. But when it happens, if they keep the rain, they need to make sure it's optimized well. I have friends who play on console and they say it tanks their systems.

    I still think that Hawkins, while "new" needs a complete rework in design and layout. It's easily the most hated map among both sides for that reason. Midwich being a close second.

    i hope they’ll try to get all 3 realms into the next chapter, tbh. itd be nice to end the map reworks for the anniversary

    either that or i hope they delay map reworks and release a map for the RE chapter

    wait no more rework for lerys? I was hoping for breakable walls for scratched mirror madness, imagine working on a generator next to a wall and you hear it suddenly getting kicked in.
