Are newer maps ever going to get a rework?
I have been wondering are maps like Midwitch, Dead Dawg, and fairly recent maps ever going to get a rework, or are they going to stay the same?

They seriously need to not have half of dead dawg saloon be grass with almost no gens and no pallets/loops. Feels like the map wasn’t fully completed, and it’s extremely killer sided.

They won't do Dead Dawg and Midwich they fit behaviors new standard for maps. But I believe they should do Hawkins

I believe it was stated they have no intention of looking at newer maps, at least not for a good bit.
I think it was in a QnA stream, but that might be wrong.

Dead dawg already needs a rework. You literally have to spend the first part of the game breaking out a decent amount of walls to make sure loops literally aren't god loops.

Dead Dawg Saloon have 1 quarter of the map where the killer will take more than 1min to chase and down 1 survivor (main building) + hang man gen who is also easy for survivor to do. Even completely open the main building is still strong. Other side of the street, like in front of killer shack/hang man, is also a decent place to run the killer. Being able to utilize all loop to their full potential and mind game the killer is key in this map. Oh and all exhaustion perk can be used in this map.

Honestly, if anything, Lery's needs breakable walls.

The only "new" map that needs a rework is Badham, not visual so much as taking a bulldozer to all the godly buildings.

It makes sense considering it was the first map to be reworked. But yeah, it needs another rework, that map is absolute nuts.

I like a lot of them, it's just that most of them are very useless and the only times you would want them gone is if all other exits are blocked.
People complain about godloops being fixed by adding a doorway, utterly destroying the use of certain windows, which the devs addressed by instead of just adding a doorway, give killers the option to turn a survivor sided loop into a killer sided one.
I mean, if you were to remove all the breakable doors right now, do you realize how killer sided a lot of the maps become?
the only wish I have is that they added a breakable door to all the killershacks, instead of only Dead Dawg Saloon. And that they add some breakable doors in Lery's(like the library, as that's essentially a killershack on steroids even if the pallet is gone). A killer breaking a breakable wall should have a net gain later in the game, right now, the vast majority of doors give killers a net loss if not grant survivors a god loop(coughcoughbadhamschooldoorscoughcough).

IMO Midwich, Dead Dawg, Lery's, and Hawkins could use some minor graphical adjustments. Of course the last two need their breakable walls, but that's about it.

I don't think that breakable walls will suit to the Hawkins.
If they want to add something like this, they can use doors that are opening when the nearby generator is done (like sliding doors).

Lery's is fine where it is. Same with Hawkins. Breakable walls are the worst damn things for killer. It was supposed to benefit, but in reality, it just slows things down too much.

They said they don't plan on doing midwich, dead dawg, or lery's. Hawkins, not sure.

Considering how the new updated maps are using a whole new method than before i think they will do all of the maps up to midwich

Dead Dawg is one of the maps that really shows it's made for its killer (and it's a shame so few people playing deathslinger make use of it on that map). Swamp is another example

Dead Dawg Saloon have 2 easy gen to do, main building is very very strong, plenty of breakable wall, most pallet are ok. If you don't waste your resources for no reason and know how to loop it's not that bad. It's slightly killer sided, nothing compare to how survivor sided The Game or Haddonfield is.
Both Swamp map are ok. They are on the bigger end so yeah when you do make the killer break 2-3 pallet in the same area you're gonna create a dead zone but that on the survivor. 2-3 good building for survivor that can waste good amount of time. They are no where near killer sided like some people say they are.
