If you get camped/tunneled its basically a free escape for your other three teammates. If you don't want to be the odd one out maybe don't be the first one found.

why? i want to play survivor and have fun, are u allergic to FUN?
i dont care if its free, its boring and annoying, if this game isnt competitive it should be fun, but its NOT when people camp and u hold M1 the entire game

I’m 99% sure this post is just bait but on the off chance it’s not I’ll say something less useless. This discussion is regurgitated at least 50 times a week on this forum. Nothing you say here is gonna bring anything new to the table and if you made this just for the sake of complaining you shouldn’t expect a serious response.

Welcome to forums place floaded with killer mains who will ######### on you for stating tunelling and camping sucks however if u make a thread on how dead hard is too op they will welcome you and have a decent chat with you of how they agree that survivor is too op and remeber follow the rules of forums and that is:only allowed to call out broken things on survivor side no killer thing is broken or unfair

state one meaningful change this forum has achieved
people who whine about dead hard are the same people who dont ever play survivor
its like the middle east conflict where many people pick one side just cuz they saw something in a movie about that 1 side instead of learning about both sides, ignornace and its easier to believe you are right instead of listening and UNDERSTANDING

It's obvious you don't know anything about games.
BHVR has multiple branches
- One makes the cosmetics
- One deals with balancing
- One with details & maps
So on and so forth.
If u ask me, the Crypt TV collaboration and the skins it brought? ABSOLUTE FIRE. I haven't been so excited about skins in a long while.
Then again. The people that are working on cosmetics don't work on content for the game. That's a totally different branch. If the cosmetics team gets a green light, they will release skins, etc.
They have the 5 year anniversary soon and they're working on a new killer & survivor and probably a new map since we haven't had one in a like a year. That's where all the work is going right now.

Well I play both sides equally and as a killer I play fair not for their sake but for mine I wasted money on this game you can be sure I won't be starring at person's soul on hook otherwise it would be waste of money and time and as survivor I barely run dead hard because sometimes dead hard gives a surv distance to safe loop they didn't deserved but again it's not overpowered perk like many use to think it is there's huge counter to dead hard....

forums are the best place for the community to interact and I feel is where the sort of (almost) unanimous ideas get traction. One example I can think of atm is wraith getting windstorm as his basekit as again that was something most forum discussions about him asked for and agreed upon

I mean, we see post like the one you made everyday, so your post it really don't add anything, it's just boring to see the same things over and over again, so don't expect to get serious if you make a tread about how camping/tunelling its annoying, because we saw too many of them.

You compared the forum/dbd community to the middle east conflict actually. To your tunnel/camping point both sides rarely ever see the point of the other side. Just the way it is. Tunneling/camping/slugging happens are supposed to be strats when the game has got away from the killer. Sometimes it's because the killer just played bad, survivors were too good, killer on that map, the map rng, perks on both sides, lots of variables. Some killers are just trash and use these from the start that's the problem but countless times with 2 gens or less, or EGC I get salt for camping a hook? It's the right play. Killers get upset that survivors split and TUNNEL gens but that's there only objective and who knows what they have been dealing with in past games. Slugging nurses? Spirits phasing straight back to hooks? Basement Bubba? 5 hook trap Hag? Who knows. Just play the damn game or don't.

I know my entrance to the forums was not the best but wow this is pretty lackluster. First off you didn't say anything to talk about just a statement that people post about like everyday. Normally entrances are very minimal asking for advice "how do I do this" and "Whats a good build" and if it is a complaint it's about something that people talk about quite a bit but its still not something you can see ( and this is the max i've seen ) 3 times on the main page. This conversation happens almost everyday and it truly has lost all meaning maybe if it was one discussion that everyone went to and posted there it would't be so annoying to see all the time and heck I might have even joined it and talked had a good conversation with someone . I browse this place when I'm bored, when I feel like I should probably do something besides sitting around and this shows up more than any "BHVR PLZ NERF" discussions. Its just all over the place and I'm tired of seeing them.

Sorry for being rude got a little heated after I got going but in essence that is why you are getting bad responses. This post has been made before maybe even more times than survivors that have been tunneled and camped combined.
Anywho try again and if it is a good post I will happily talk and have a meaningful conversation with you. But until then ciao.

I agree camping and tunneling is necessary for this game to some capacity. (I won't ever get salty at a Killer for camping/tunneling in EGC/after final gen pop to secure another kill, nor salty about a Killer camping/tunneling against someone who BM'd them all game. Or someone who has to tunnel because they're against a genuine hard gen squad/the Survivors are swarming the hook. (The second one not even being a camp/tunnel- that's just Survivors making bad choices.))
But saying it's because Survivors loop?
That's like saying you should play Nurse because she's the best Killer, but never blink because she 'Doesn't need to'. There's a ton of really unsafe loops for Killers to capitalise on, and a ton of killers that can straight up ignore them/shut them down.
Plus, there's the fact that Stealth has kinda just been getting harder and harder with a lot of new tracking perks and the map reworks making it harder in some cases, and Killers and Survivors both complain about how 'Boring' it is to see a stealth Survivor.
Idk bud, that just sounds like a bad take to me, but if you wanna explain your point a little better, I'd be glad to hear it. 🤷♂️
