How do you feel when playing against Trapper?

I've been playing as trapper a lot recently and I wonder what goes through survivors' heads.

I consistantly alternate between a state of

"He hasn't been here, so this whole place is safe"

    To

"Holy hell he spawned over here, there could be a trap in basically any of these loops"

    And then sometimes to

"I'm gonna follow him around and disarm all of his traps"

Also whenever i'm against trapper, I develop acute Agrostophobia (Look it up...)

hes boring and terrifying at the same time. boring because his power isnt anything exciting and terrifying because you never know when a loop is trapped. i know his power isnt good but it feels like a robbery when it works against you. unless youre on an indoor map hes gonna be a pain in the ass

"My team mates are going to tap into their ancient monkey brain and be REALLY STUPID today."

Still remembering telling my friend "Don't vault through the window!" They leapt through the window and got hit by a trap.

"I just TOLD you not to use the window."

"I didn't think you meant THAT window!"

"The tile only has one window!"

I free them, we start running they shout "That pallet is trapped."

    "What pallet?"

    *SPRING!*

I always start every match thinking "oh, it's just a Trapper" and end every match going "oh f#%^ oh s*#% oh god" Like the kalm-panik meme. There's no killer that can pull a total sweep from everything's okay to everything's on fire like he can.

And if it wasn't a galaxy-brain Trapper who predicted every window vault I'd take 6 minutes in advance, he definitely has NOED. Trapper and Bubba are the two killers I go out of my way to prep for NOED with just because it always seems like they're running it, even in the ranks you don't see NOED that much.

Constant paranoia even though I know I'll probably get out in one attempt anyways. Always happens when I play Trapper.

In my mind it goes someting like this: "I hate beiing a trap magnet, I hate being a trap magnet, I hate being a trap magnet. GOD CAN I PLAY VS ANY OTHER KILLER PLEASE !?!"

That's why I dread the day trapper gets buffed, the worst possible outcome him actually getting popular or meta. That would be the day I'd have to stop playnig survivor until it dies out.

I feel really confident when I see its a Trapper

Then I feel really dumb when I step on a trap

Probably the most embarrassing killer to play against. That ain't a good thing either.

Usually constant paranoia mixed with confidence.

I just mentioned it in another comment I made but askdj like someone else said, it always starts out with: "Ah, it's Trapper, k." And when those traps start catching my teammates one after the other, it's in that moment I realize... This trapper ain't playing around. I don't like the feeling of not being safe around the map. Even parts of the map I know aren't trapped, I get intense anxiety especially around grass, pallets, windows and shack. Stepping into a trap exudes a lot of profanities and at the endgame just leaves me with gg well fckin played lol

People say he needs buffs, I think not.

He can easily keep his hex totems, slow down progression, slug and etc.

At first I think its easy compared to say one shot killers like Bubba.

But then I see Trapper gets 1 person, traps an area like crazy and gets 2 more while I'm on a gen watching this happen.

Then I decide to go look for hatch lol

I feel confident, yet paranoid when I go against Trapper because I just know I'm going to get caught in a bear trap one way or another.

My primary focus against trapper is to stare at the floor as I move. I know he'll often trap loops and windows. His traps are very easy to see unless in the "tall grass". His element of surprise is almost non existent, I think he's too easy to counter.

Survivors will generator rush the trapper at the beginning of the match, knowing he needs so much time to set up. He needs a buff of some sort.

I don’t like watching my steps all the time and Trappers like basement camping so…

I had a match against Trapper a few days ago that was one of the worst I've ever had -- but in the hilarious way. Teammate went down within the first 30 seconds. I started walking to get in position for a save. Stepped in a trap, which was the first I found out it was Trapper. Couldn't get out of the trap before he arrived. Got hooked. Watched as the rest of my teammates proceeded to step in the same trap I did until they all went down. Died laughing.

I'm forced to go around the map and disarm traps at pallets so that we actually have a chance once we get into a chase.
