This game is impossible to play solo
All I do when playing solo is die die die and die. And not just me, about 85%-90% of all games are 4k. This is ridiculous and annoying. And looks like the DEVs don't care.
I used to enjoy this game.

If you're in the rank 15-20 range that's pretty standard until you learn more of how things work and get better perks. As you gain more experience you'll learn where the safe spots are and aren't and where to hide and where not to hide.
You'll get better at skill checks and know when it's safe to unhook and when not to, when to heal and when not to. Where the totems are at on each map, the good vault locations and the ones that lead you to death etc.

I've been playing solo since this game came out, yeah it's a bit more challenging but that's what survivor haS needed for a long time.. A CHALLENGE for their side.
After DBD was out for 4months surviving was super easy all eople really needed was SC and any sprinting perk.Since healing takes longer now I've definitely seen a slight shift in meta which is good because now survivors cant run the usual meta of SC, (Some sprinting escape perk), DS, Adrenaline , Unbreakable.
Now a lot of the time i see Botany, We'll make it, pharmacy , leader, and maybe a mix of meta..
WHICH IS GOOD!We are literally on the verge where survivors cant just run meta perks anymore due to killer(s and future killers) countering certain perks.
Thus forcing another meta shift where there will be no main meta and it's up the individuals own play style.P.S Get Good
P.S.S. Winning doesnt mean you have to survive BTW (If you're double pipping or getting a pip and a half then you literally have nothing to complain about. You'd just be complaining because you arent allowed to survive and escape every match like the ez days.)0 -

As solo player I have higher escape rates.
But yeah, SWF doomed the game and I wish it never happened

Solo provides the best survivor experience in terms of difficulty. The fact that it has gotten a little more difficult only makes it better for improving skill. Swf is fun, but mindless chatter throws atmosphere out the window.0

Learn to stay away from the killer. Learn to hide. Killers have terrible vision.
When the match starts, lay low a bit, and wait for someone else to get chased, then go do stuff. Stay away from the chase.
Keep at it, and eventually it will become faster and more intuitive. You will become one with the fog, and the killer will be lucky to remember what character you are.
Of course, you should always be doing gens, or totems during this time to help ensure you, and others can get out.
Keep an exhaustion perk. Sprint burst, lithe, balanced landing, or dead hard.
I like Lithe. It's controllable, and delivers good results and has numerous places to use it. You can run without burning sprint burst, you can use it more places than balanced landing.
Add in Dance With Me, and light weight and your evasive ability goes up.
I've had a lot of less persistent killers flat out give up on chasing me.
Urban evasion is a nice perk to have.
Also winning is a little more subjective than exiting.
You can be an excellent distraction and buy time for everyone else, and walk out with a lot of points even if you get sacrificed.
Taking one for the team isn't shameful, imo. If you are the only sacrifice and 3 others made it out, you did good, imo.
It's all about the points.
Of course if you must get chased, then play killer, and chase people around. Learn from what they do to lose you. The better you are in a chase and mind games, the more you will see, and possibly pick up on to use as a survivor.Post edited by Rebel_Raven on0 -
No, it isn't.

The more important thing here is enjoy, winning or losing is subjective, on another approach you have to consider that there is a lot of new people in this game since it was on discount on October, plus like 80-90% of the players only play like survivors, so the few people that play as killer have a lot of experience and are in bad mood some times, as for me is frustrating when i want to play like survivor and have to wait so long to find a match, so I play as killer and kill without mercy.
Play killer, and learn how the other people lose you, there are very good people that can escape even a secure hit and disappear.
There are good players too, the kind that win without losing any member, as for myself when I play survivor some times I get matched with pro players in 10 min or less we win a match.
I'm also a solo player and I enjoy it, some times I shine and sometimes I die first, just enjoy both of them.
