Game just keeps getting worse and worse

It's impossible to have fun while playing Killer. Because of the busted gen speeds you cant really do much as long as you play against half decent survivors that do gens with an unreliable killer. Simple solution would be playing a strong killer right? No! The game is just spamming bugs at you every single game. Btw autoaim takes away hits from you quite often, this has been a problem since the game released and it's still not fixed. Autoaim will make you hit the corner instead of the survivor, so much fun. If you play strong killers you will still win, but it is just not fun and I just have a reason to complain about the game like every few seconds a game.

Nurse? No ######### you! Take this Blink Bug, and don't forget this M1 bug.

Blight? Are you kidding?????

Survivor isn't much better, survivor isn't as bad as killer but still unfun. Since the DS nerf killers just play extremely annoying almost every game. I haven't had a single killer that doesn't camp / tunnel and ruins everyone else's experience within the past few days. BT and DS will punish the killer for it and make them lose, but your own game experience is still ruined. Maybe it's just me being extremely unlucky with the killers too, sometimes it's okay to play like that. But a Stridor Spirit that completely ignores everyone she see's and just tunnels me the entire game from the beginning when she saw me at 5 gens is literally just annoying.

I remember having fun in DBD a few years ago, and seeing a game get worse over time is just sad. :/

I mostly get "aim dressing" problems against console users. the game can't seem to handle cross play and auto aim gets messed up with their trash tier ping. anything above 70 has the potential to mess with the auto aim.

And you do know where the door is right? If you aren't having fun, why are you still here? It is time to hit the road Jack, and don't you come back no more, no more, no more... no more. If it is impossible for you to have fun, staying here is kind of insane isn't it? I'm having plenty of fun; that is why I'm here. But you clearly are not.

Play as survivor then. Problem solved.

I have quite a bit of fun playing Killer - and I main Doctor and Huntress.

If you are not having fun playing a game - then it's time to take a break and find something to play you find fun.

While I suspect most of your post is hyperbolic - if that's how you feel - then take action instead of just complaining on a forum.

You should have read the entire post. I dont blame you i wanted to skip the rest after the third sentence, too. I mean every day there is someone with the same rant, it gets boring.

the thing is. there isn't any door if you want to stay in the same game genre. People want to play this game because how addicting it is yet the game is unfun because of complexity and bhvr not fixing alot of things, still waiting them to skip chapter just to fix the game.

Another thing is you don't want to leave game where you had good time back in the time or atleast I LOVED dbd back in 2017-2018 until 2.0.0 patch came out.

that means you still want to play even tho you aren't having fun. Bhvr just should take a break in doing new killers or dlcs and they should skip 1 or 2 chapters for the sake of the game.

Yep that's mostly it. The game was so much more fun, seeing a game get worse over time is just sad. I don't play dbd as often anymore but I get surprised every single time how bad this game and the community is. There also aren't really any alternatives, and just saying "don't play it if you don't like it" is not really a good point. A few years ago in the gaming industry the game would've changed if it wasn't good or not fun. Imagine BHVR saying "we don't care we ain't fixing those bugs, just don't play the game".

I payed for this game so I should be able to expect the absolute minimum, a working game. But as a killer main I experience bugs every single game, especially because I main Nurse which is a killer that gets completely ignored by the devs and is the buggiest mess in the entire game. They fix bugs that affect survivors within the next patch as soon as they know about it, look at fatigue cancel or the wooden horse add-on for example. But bugs like Blink bug and M1 bug that affect the killer and are game breaking have been in the game for years, and you have those bugs at least once every single game which gets really frustrating over time.

Playing fun killers isn't really an option either because they are weak and as a killer you cant really have fun if the gens are done in 4 or 5 minutes. As mentioned playing survivor is also a pain, this is mostly the community but also the game design allowing things like that, you cant really play because almost every single killer is just gonna camp and tunnel you down since DS is not as common anymore due to the nerf. Haven't had a fun survivors match in days.

I also kind of lost hope even more after seeing some replies on this discussion, people aren't even reading it and just reply something stupid "Play as survivor then. Problem solved."

Makes you wonder if the devs are aware and plan on changing something to improve the situation.

I can't say I agree. The balance of the game has become increasingly better over time. It's too slow, but the progress that has be done is very good in my opinion. Killer is generally fairly doable now, unless you maybe get those insanely rare depip squads.

I would argue killers like Blight, Spirit, Oni, HIllbilly and others are definitely viable even against good swf teams. It's hard to win such matches even with those viable killers, but that's how it should be when the opposing team is very good.

Bugs are annoying though, I do not think there are more than in the past, but sadly, there aren't less either.

As for camping and tunneling, I agree it's ridiculously frustrating to go against, and one of the aspects of the game that really needs to be looked at the most. But I played 5 or 6 games yesterday, and only in one of them did I get a camping killer. The other games were all against killers that played normally.

There is a door; it leads out of this game. There are literally thousands of games at your fingertips. If you aren't enjoying this one, it makes zero sense to keep playing it. Nostalgia is not a reason. Addiction is a reason to do the opposite, because if you keep playing something you do not enjoy because you are addicted to it, you have a problem and should address it by going cold turkey. Doing exactly the same thing over and over again and expecting a different outcome is the definition of insanity:

So, I'm going to repeat my advice. Follow the example of Jack Burton above and hit the road. And like the song says, "and don't you come back no more, no more, no more.... no more. The game isn't suddenly going to get fixed to your liking. Venting here is going to have no impact on getting your wish. I'm going to tell you another thing you won't accept too. Your memories are playing you false. The game wasn't any better back in the day. You were different; the game was largely the same. It changes but with glacial slowness. We, as Players, change rapidly. You can never go home again. You know too much and so do your opponents. You either adapt to the new reality or you find a new game where you can go up through the phases again. One day I too will grow bored or unhappy with this game. When that time comes, I'm gone... like the wind. I won't even stop by here to give a melodramatic "goodbye cruel DbD speech." The choice is stark and simple. If you aren't enjoying yourself, take a break or leave. If you don't take action, you have only yourself to blame.

I was thinking about how much killers moan and cry about how stressful the game is for them. I think it's because when you start playing DBD, killer is incredibly easy compared to survivor. Killer mains expect to continue to get easy 4Ks every game, and anything less is a loss that makes them have an absolute meltdown. If it's not fun for you, stop playing. Plain and simple. I've quit many games that changed in ways I didn't like. Stop investing time in something you don't enjoy just because you used to.

So you are saying current dbd is worse than old dbd?
