Yo how do you counter hit and run Wraith? Other than gen rushing
Like ######### I've been doing pretty well, with this build. It feels like there is zero counter play other than hope you don't get hit by the wraith.
Even if the one guy escapes and throws down a pallet, I just break the pallet for the next time I come back to hit the guy. I don't even need to bother looping as wraith with my sub par looping skills.
Even if they try to hide behind a wall and heal with nurses calling + ghost(undectecable for 6 secs) add-on. I just decloak on the side with the pallet so they can't pallet escape. And I always get a hit
What tips other than bring perks to counter wraith can you suggest?

Having spine chill and not being outpositioned

Using perks that benefit being injured or allow quick heals

But like even with spine chill. I just start walking side ways to the area. And forget out positioning. I get to pick the best position to come in from. Especially add-on with the zero terror radius + zero red stain for 6 seconds after I uncloak.

Having good situational awareness. Wraith is loud as hell with his snarling noises. Always be near a window or pallet. If a gen is out in the open, make sure you have more than 1 survivor repairing it, but generally avoid those unless you know the wraith is somewhere else.

Sprint Burst really helps me with Wraith. I also look out for his shimmer in advance so I can run to a safe tile. I've made an uncloaked Speedy Gonzalez Wraith eat a whole pallet a couple times. It's always beautiful.
Basically: Sprint Burst and vigilance. :)

Throwing pallets and staying near windows can cripple Wraith actually.
Now that I think of it, Wraith is crippled by survivors taking the time to heal and playing safe whenever they can through windows. Of course this can help against any killer, but Wraith has little to no chasing potential. Survivors that heal a lot more and make it hard to get the initial hit on them make it incredibly difficult for Wraith.

This is the best counter play

What distance can survivors hear it from?

I mean personally I don't care cause the moment they throw down one pallet I break the pallet leave and come back later for round 2. And they can't use the window side if I come in from window side. I always make sure every chase I get atleast one hit or one pallet break. And by end game there are no more pallets for them to use. And then forget mind gaming jungle gyms, if you can't see my red stain for 6 seconds.

Yep,just stay near a good window (e.g shack or long wall jungle gym) and wait for him to unlcoack to like 75% and slowly vault the window.
You can waste quite a bit of his time if you do it right.

You're assuming you know they have spinechill....

Doing gens. It's a 1k at best against a good team if Wraith is going to be inefficient like that.

I play a lot of hit n run wraith consider it's probably his best way to win. You just need to pay a lot of your attention to what's going on and try to get a glimpse of his position. Check where gens are and work on those who are close to windows, pallets, any strong tile like shack.

I mean genrushing is literally how you beat every killer. Just genrush

I'm not 100% sure, but when i play survivor i always hear the snarling before the wraith can even start uncloaking.
