Time to rework hitbox
Why are you reworking the texture of the characters and maps but not the hitboxes ? For people who say hitboxes are normal do you think they are realistic ? In an FPS game the hitboxes are realistic, while in DBD your hitbox is the size of Russia.

A more releastic hitbox would eat up more computer processing. Considering how poorly optimized DBD is that's not a good idea right now.

Fps games require precision in their hitboxes, since most have some damage multiplier for headshots vs body shots and some have modifiers for hitting limbs.
Meanwhile here in DBD the hit boxes are good enough, since the location of a hit is irrelevant. Besides most of the issues with "hitboxes" is actually just latency.

how bout no. Survivors already have a smaller hitbox and don't catch on anything while rubbing their face into walls etc...
try to grind against anything like survivors do and watch your killer get slowed and stuck, convenient isn't it?

Dbd is a casual-oriented game by conception. So it uses generous and forgiving capsule hitboxes.
Overwatch is ostensibly a competitive shooter and it uses the same capsules.

The devs had a stream a couple years ago where they went into detail about why something like this will never happen. It was mainly related to difficulty with the amount of issues it would cause and computer processing load.
