Your favorite moments as a survivor?

For me I can't really think of any moment that brings me as much joy as seeing a killer heading DIRECTLY at me, my insides are screaming to run because it's so obvious they have spotted me, but I just try to keep my cool, stay crouched in my spot and then... they walk right past me.

what are some of your favorite moments?

For me, generally it's when I attempt a 360, window tech or any other juke and it pulls off. My favourite moments are when I make a killer DC or face-camp me (when they just smack you until you're dead).

However, my most memorable moment in DBD was when I saved someone off the hook by the exit gates, I got downed and they got out with borrowed time. Whilst the killer was trying to look for me I got back up with unbreakable and ran out the exit gates.

360s, 4 petrified oaks, instaheals, bodyblocks, removing noed before it triggers and all that sort of stuff.

Losing the killer in the cornfield, NOED not triggering, double pipping, flashlight saving (because I’m hot garbage at the aim), actually stealthing and the killer not finding you, etc...

An actual chase out. Either you've got a killer bearing down on you as you approach the gate, and enter the gate room, trying to exit, or you're watching the survivor icons to make sure everyone gets out, and the killer chases you out while you hope you bought the others time to get out.

Not that ultra safe bs where all the survivors are waiting at the gate teabagging the until they get their "get off my lawn" chase.

If I can leave, the killer isn't around, and I feel like everyone else is safe, I'm leaving hoping the killer feels like they were threatening enough that I didn't want to hang around.

Maybe when I pull a roadrunner, and lithe through a vault, then bolt so far so fast that the killer gives up, and I escape.

My girlfriend played a round last night where she would have been dead on hook but he forgot about the trap he had set at the hook and stepped in it, freeing her and she ended up escaping by the end... it was really rather beautiful

my favorite moments is when I run the killer the entire game and they never leave me for easier prey and then catch me and hook me near an exit gate then camp but my friend still saves and he goes around and waits to hit me and hits me but its too late because I'm already at the exit gate because of my adrenaline and I then wait and let him hit me to dying state and run out with borrowed time still going ;) and he then DCS on the spot with my other teammates tea bagging him its so beautiful.

Somehow looping a Nurse without getting hit once when you absolutely SUCK at looping.
That's happened twice now. Granted, I'm low in rank as Survivor, but still.

Red Forest, everyone dead except for me, against a Trapper. The hatch was on that hill next to the smaller building. The killer found it first and trapped everything. I sneaked in, avoiding every trap. I hear the heartbeat approaching and I panic, so I run and get caught in a bear trap. The Trapper tries getting to me but they step into their own trap, and I free myself on my first try and "gracefully" escape.

I also got matched with the SWF that trolled me bad (as killer) on the previous game. I didnt sandbag or anything bad, I just refused to heal them. I even took their flashlight when they DCed (yes, typical toxic SWF).

Ever have a Trapper carrying you to a hook and he steps in his own trap and bingo you're free lol.

One time the exit gates were powered. I was perkless and I was dead on hook. I ran a CLOWN at the shack pallet, took a hit. Mindgamed him at a window loop and went out of the gate without any help. You bet urself I teabagged him hard. Not cause I got across the map tho but because he camped my teammates ^^

There was one time a couple years ago where I was playing against a Trapper in Shelter Woods and I was the last one left. I was still new to the game at the time and crouched around the entire map looking for the hatch when my Premo went off. I crouched behind a tree and waited for the killer to pass, but nothing happened. After a couple minutes of trying to scope out the area and not understanding why premo was there and no killer, I ended up seeing the hatch in one of the jungle gyms. Running to it, I tried to leap in only to be grabbed by the Trapper who was running insid. I was like 'NOOOOOO' as he carried me towards a hook, forgetting about all of the traps he had placed around the hatch. He stepped in one, I got off and into the hatch. That match took 40min due to me being a scardey cat, but it was definately memorable.

Another is a little more general, but I love when you pull off a good sneaky dance with the killer. Those moments where you have the killer looking for you and you manage to stay out of his line of sight, sometimes without cover, are the absolute best.

I played against this Mikey about a week ago on the preschool map and danced around him as he patrolled right in front of the hook. He moved away for just a second to check behind a bush and I got the unhook right then and there. I was pissed when I found out that it hadn't recorded

It should be just this afternoon when I SWF with 1 friend. Only my pairs are SWF and the other 2 are random. one of the random Meg get tunneled all game, getting chased a full map. That hunstress just want her dead for some reason, proxi camp her when she is on hook, finally get far enough chasing another guy for us to unhook her and she drop the chase to come back and tunnel her again.

We have no choice but gen rush and get the gate open but at that point she was looping huntress at the far end of the map. All three of us run to her, waiting to cut in and taking hit for her one by one. At last, all four of us get hit but successfully escort Meg to the gate across the map.

Although 2 of us can communicate, but all three of us working so well together running toward the chase without second thought. That Meg saw us all around her and get what we try to do and create opportunity for us to cut in and block the huntress. The end game chat was fantastic as well, that Meg keep cool and said gg, no one blame the huntress for tunneling, no one spew toxic shXt at each other. We just civilly said "gg" and move on.

Probably the time in the Meat Packing Plant. Last gen was done and the gates available. The Wraith knocked me down but left me down for another survivor. I crawled clear across the map and out the exit gate someone had opened.

Nurse gameplay as a survivour is tricky and exciting, mostly includes huging the crap out of trees and doubling back once you hear the charge. Taking left and rights out of line of sight a nurse, trailing your scratch marks and genrally avoiding open areas.

Had a game where i put this all to the test against a good nurse not a master but a good nurse. It was 3 v 1 so immediatly we were disadvantaged since the bill sucieded at the start. We manage to get two gens barely before the second last person was killed leaving the hatch in play.

I was injured and the nurse was on me. Chasing me across the map missing 5 consecutive swings as i desperatly searched the map for hatch. Then the sudden sound of salvation the hatch was close and after cirving aroind a tree forcing the nurse to hit off a tree i managed to gain enough distance to get downed next to the hatch and hop in.

Most of the time the hatch can feel like a free escape but given what I endured and overcame i think it was well earned.

A few days ago I was playing a Leatherface in Springwood and there were two people left . I was opening the gate while my teammate was tea bagging beside me when we heard the heartbeat so we scattered and he came after me. He revved his chainsaw and I kited him around a tiny bush for about three consecutive chainsaw tantrums and he didn't think to literally turn around and he would have down me instantly. I finally got enough room between us to make a dash for the exit gate that my team mate had opened.

Another time in the Family estate I got downed by a Wraith with two people left again. I was able to crawl across the entire map and escape because the ground is covered in grass and he couldn't find me. I could see him across the map patrolling the area he downed me in not thinking I had moved and escaped with probably 20 seconds left in my bleed out timer.
