Here is my guide to save as many Bloodpoints as possible while also completing the archives.

It feels a bit better, Iβve played a few matches and feel like Iβm making more progress than usual. Would be nice if the free track didnβt start out so empty, but hey. :D

I never understand what these posts mean by; save bloodpoints. Do you mean just the easiest way to finish it, or the fastest. Would the best way not be just to do every challenge? Is this taking into account items or add ons needed to do some of the challenges.
Sorry if this was confusing, hopefully someone can clear this up for me.

People use the finished challenges to save their BP awards for when the chapter arrives so they can use them all at the same time. It's mainly for people who have most things they want already unlocked so they don't need to spent it anywhere else.

when do you collect the ones you save? once the page is done? or after then entire tome?

The idea is that I'll spend it on the new chapter. However after seeing Twins and Trickster I decided to save them.
I'm now going to spend them on the 5th anniversary event when we've got 5th year gateaus π already have over 2.5mil saved up before the start of this tome lol

The idea is to have more than the 1 mil bloodpoints you can have banked. Generally i spend it on the new chapter killer first then survivor as i'm mostly a killer main.
Between saving bloodpoints on the tome, daily challenges, having 1 mil saved before launch, and spending 8k shards on 600k bloodpoints you have enough to generally get the new character to level 50 and have a decent build to start with, or if you are like me, i usually:
- Get new killer to 50
- spend all the green bloodpoint bonus offerings and survivor puddings or get to 1 mil, whichever happens first.
- Prestige
- Cash in the bloodpoints saved in a few levels of the tome to get to level 50
- Spend all green bloodpoint offerings.
- Prestige
- Cash in the rest of the tome and cash in daily challenges
- Spend bloodpoint offerings
- Prestige
- Cash in 8k shards for 600k bloodpoints and have ~1 mil saved before the prestige
- Get killer to level 50 again.
Usually i can have at least 1 or 2 workable perks and then from there it's focusing on getting a good build with them as fast as possible.
This makes it so when the new killer comes out i can usually get them to prestige 3 and have a decent build with them in the first week. Then by the weekend being over, i can have every perk on them. Then i just save 1 mil for the survivor, get them to 40, get their perks, and get them on my main survivor. Then i spend the last level of the tome on getting the new killer's perks on the rest of the killers.
I also exclusively play the new killer usually with no addons until i max them out so i have spent a lot of time getting a good feel for them.

I mean, i do complete them all. But i don't turn them all in until the new chapter comes out. I already have every perk on every killer and 2 survivors with all perks and basically infinite addons. I have nothing else to spend bloodpoints on.

I'm not sure. I'll check when I'm on later and let you know. I think master challenges are 25k and normal challenges are 15k.
You do every challenge now but as long as you don't collect your reward then the Bloodpoints can be collected later. You won't get the rift fragments though on that challenge if you don't collect it before the rift ends.

It feels a lot better, basicly every match you get one shard because getting 500xp per match is super easy. And on top of that you'll get bonus 600xp for playing one match of survivor and killer daily (1200xp total + xp from the games itself). So you will get around 3-4 fragments by just playing 2-3 matches (and it is enough to get to max level if you will play at least those 2 matches daily and you'll have done all of the challanges.

I am completely lost. Can someone explain to me what is the endgame here and why a guide is needed to achieve it? I just do whatever challenge at any time- am I shorting myself of something or being inefficient?

I was also confused as to why you want to save some, I've read the explanation and essentially it's to claim a load of bloodpoints later to spend on the new RE stuff right?
What I am still unsure of is why do you claim any at all that aren't a direct path to the next page (i.e. the offshoots)?
This is all probably not relevant to me as I am still getting killers to 40 and just got Plague with the 4.5k shards discount. I'm prob being a noob and missing something obvious but would appreciate if anyone can explain, thanks.

The thing is if I don't do it this way then I'll have like 60 challenges to actually do and complete before I can claim them lol
I do it this way so the second I decide to claim them, I can do it immediately

Ahhh I think I get it now, you can't actually do the next challenge unless you have claimed the previous one. I didn't realise as this is new to me and I have just been claiming and moving on. Thanks.
