Don't worry my fine sir/ma'am, you are not alone in your endeavor.
6 -
it's a good buff for demo and it's actually worth the time.
3 -
Yeaaa
2 -
29. Are there any killers left that you believe need a full on rework?
3 -
You should've tagged me.
I have more upvotes than I know what to do with, and I'd be happy to contribute them to such a noble cause.
2 -
Yes I do believe that Plague, Trickster, Legion, and Spirit belong on this list as well
3 -
30. Do you believe the recent Coldwind Changes improves the atmosphere of the game but is fair for both sides?
2 -
From the looks of it yeah, map looks pretty too
3 -
31. Now there are only a few maps left who haven't been touched. Which one do you believe they should change next and should they get it done sooner then later and throw in some reworks with the Resident Evil chapter?
2 -
Haddonfield as that map has alot of problems that need to be looked into
3 -
32. Does Hawkins qualify for a rework? The map is generally disliked and lacks some current gameplay mechanics.
2 -
I feel like it should, most of the pallets are really weak on that map but the vaults sometimes help
3 -
33. Have the devs successfully implemented breakable walls since their creation? Or have they been more or less a behavior? And if so how would you make them more healthy for gameplay?
3 -
They are not good for gameplay whatsoever, I suggest removing them
4 -
I've yet to see anyone enjoy breakable walls lol
3 -
I don't think anyone likes prethrown pallets that you have to break, still don't know why BHVR made breakable walls
4 -
I do like breaking them. breaking walls and doors is a good slasher trope.
gameplay wise...not worth having...
2 -
34. There's an old comparison out there the Bloodlust is the same as Dead Hard it rewards the player for poor gameplay. Do you believe that either is fine? If not how and when should they change the two?
1 -
both are not exactly fine, dead hard needs a change where it is a true dodge perk while bloodlust needs to be removed after all the map updates
3 -
- 35. Even though some maps remain unbalanced? And before possibly removing bloodlust should all killer have a viable power like Myers or Trapper?
2 -
Hence why I mentioned after the map updates, once the maps are balanced I would be fine with either removing bl or atleast nerfing it down a bit
However Myers and Trapper I would want looked at first before any major BL changes
3 -
- 36. Are there any other current non perk mechanics that are in need of a rework?
3 -
In my opinion, totems are in dire need of a rework in a way as imo they have some issues with them (Namely causing balance issues with stuff)
2 -
- 37. Has there ever been an overpowered Hex perk? And what do you believe is the biggest problem with Hexes? Are there too many weak ones? Too easy to find? Or too much for Solo Q or not enough for SWF?
1 -
None of the hex perks have been OP....on their own
Hex perks have always been issues whenever multiple are in use, so basically hex perks are both weak and strong, however every hex would be weak if found instantly
So I feel like Hex perks need something more to it, along with hex perks not being locked to specifically totems as a way to remove them
1 -
An up vote isn't enough for this.
You get an "I agree"
2 -
38. Been proposed for possible survivor hexes could that be successfully implemented?
3 -
Not likely as I don’t think it would be a good idea, lore and balance wise
4 -
39. How much do you believe the lore and gameplay should be intertwined?
3 -
to a moderate amount, it’d be ridiculous if survivors could set hex totems mainly due to the fact that the killer would need to find it, compared to 4 survivors
3 -
40. Recently people comaplained Trickster doesn't fit in DBD despite some less spooky killers. Do you believe there's certain type of killers that only fit in DBD?
2 -
No I don't care about that as in reality, anyone can be a psychopath and trickster fits that bill
2 -
41. There has been discussion on what's the best way to balance the game. The loudest believe the game should be balanced around the best of the best. Despite the majority of players being casual. To which group should the game balance around?
2 -
I feel like it should be balanced out casually for now until BHVR finds a way to fix this games RNG, as right now this is far from a competitive game (RNG on maps can cause chain vaults or dead zones)
3 -
42. If so do you believe we should keep RNG or keep every map set in stone?
2 -
Keep the RNG, if every map was the same that would be very boring and repetitive
3 -
43. Is there any type of loop you believe needs a huge change?
2 -
nope, only want Haddonfield changed
3 -
44. The devs have in the past tried ways to get lower killers played more like nerfs to popular one Hillbilly and buffs to weak ones bubba. Although this led to the former being barely played. What's the best way to get low pickrate killers played more?
2 -
Buff/rework low pickrate killers
For billy however remove his overheat and change his overheat based add-ons
3 -
- 45. It has been said that gameplay on both sides has become pretty boring what should the devs add to shake up the gameplay?
2 -
I'm still waiting for a sluzzy interview
1 -
Change up how skillchecks work overall, add a secondary obj (Blue Glyph's are a pretty good example of it starting up, however I'd prefer if it was something like OoO where its a punishment with a reward on a timer)
2 -
- 46 we're gonna wrap this up now but final question. Is the game heading in the correct direction?
2 -
Chapter wise, no it has not, so far both Twins and Trickster have been awful and camp reliant to the point its not fun, and the recent twins nerf didn't help
1 -
OP's tried many times to interview Sluzzy, and every time he has asked Sluzzy refused to respond.
2 -
Thank you very much for accepting this and have a great time!
4 -
It would be the most viewed post ever.
5 -
Got anyone else lined up?
2 -
Oh boy I hope it's me
