New to playing on PC...how do you set up a SWF?

^ Title

I probably had over 800 hours on Xbox, before I recently switched over to playing on PC. It's been great so far, but I can't seem to figure out how to organize a SWF. On Xbox, it was easy--I was able to use console messaging to contact or respond to posts from other players looking for teammates. Does Steam have the same functionality? Or would I have to use Discord?

Forgive the basic question but I haven't found a simple approach to getting this done. Thanks in advance!

You add friends with the "add friends" option. If they're on Steam I think you have to be steam friends, though

If you want to find new players to play with, the dead by daylight Discord server is probably a good place to go. Once you've joined it, look for the "looking-for-group" chat and talk to players there.

Just google dead by daylight discord, unsure if I can link it.
