Gotta love getting a DC penalty for the game crashing
Game crashed twice today and I have to wait because of it. One time I was just running to a gen. Another time I was repairing one alone.
Thanks for penalizing players when your game doesn't work properly.

Killer matches worked fine for me this morning. The game crashed on 2/3 of my survivor matches so far.

They need to find a way to differentiate between someone pressing the leave match button and someone's internet going out.

This is most likely not possible.
It has to be that strict, otherwise, people would abuse the system and just pull the Plug (as an example). There would be no way for the game to know if this happened on purpose or not.

There already is a way.
If someone hits the button, give them the penalty, if they don't, then don't.
If the person rage quits by ripping out their cable, they still have to wait to reconnect. That's their penalty.
There's no reason to punish people for the game malfunctioning.
