Deathslinger Redeemer: Player Disconnection Bug

Platform: PC

Description: Deathslinger will get stuck and become unplayable while a player is hooked, and then disconnects.

Steps: Play as The Deathslinger. Shoot a survivor and begin reeling him in. Disconnect as the survivor. The killer is now broken.

I don't remember if there was terrain in the way or not. That may or may not influence the bug.

How often does this occur: I'm not sure, but the fact it was used deliberately against me by a salty player, tells me it works more often than not.

    In the description when i say "unplayable while a player is hooked". By "hooked" i mean via the redeemer, not the entity hooks.

    I just had the same thing happen. I was able to move and look around a bit, but not by much, so the game probably thinks you still have someone speared. I tried getting my face in a wall to break the chain, but even after the chain meter filled up it was still there and I was still stuck.

    I have had a couple teammates exploit this recently, and it's happened to all of them. However, there is another thing that is occuring after this: When the Deathslinger DCs or just lets us win and escape, my game will crash after I press "Continue" in the match results screen. It's occured every time this specific bug has happened.

    I have also just noticed the game crashing in general when interacting with bugs, like the muffled generator on Midwich. It's the same EXCEPTION ACCESS VIOLATION error.

    That happens to me as well. One of the players I was playing with did it, I dced out the match because I'm not gonna play when the killer cannot play. The deathslinger DCED shortly after. Then 3 people in the 4 man we were in bluescreened (we on PS4).

    Very weird bug.
