RIP BBQ

So when someone goes down just hide in a locker until 4 seconds after they are hooked. EZ.

Oh wow really? I mean to be fair they block shock, and there is now a perk that specifically identifies locker leaves, so it's not terribly broken. It might promote camping though.. if people are hiding and the killer doesn't see anyone they might not leave the hook.

I think i'll still pretend to go somewhere else for 4 seconds. Just in case they are running Iron Maiden.1

Lockers or Distortion.
Why rip bbq though? Most people who run it say it’s solely for the points? You don’t lose your points. Not sure why it’s an issue.3 -

Yea Distortion hurts BBQ too. I call BS on people that say they run it only for points. Points are great, but when you can hook someone an IMMEDIATELY acquire a new target that's too strong to ignore, and they are definitely going to look at the auras at some point. If someone says that to you tell them they are full of #########.

Killers that don't usually camp leave hooks when they see an aura. If they don't then survivors must be close, so they stay close to the hook. But if the reality is everyone is clear across the map in a locker then your just pushing the killer to camp the guy on the hook.

BBQ is still going to be a great perk. Do killers not use their eyes or ears to hunt for survivors anymore and just rely on auras? Personally I forget BBQ even shows auras at times. Lets say if a killer does camp because they don't see auras just punish them by doing gens or go for a two man unhook. Punish the killer for trying to punish one survivor.

Survivors also have a perk to counter it now. Gonna be meta until BBQ isn't meta anymore. We're gonna know what WGLF feels like after all this time.

But of course this will have implications on the gameplay.
