Grab survivors
While a survivor is busy, can I grab him to his right or left, instead of necessarily grabbing him from the back?

Keep in mind that grabbing is currently (and actually for a long time now) pretty buggy/laggy and doesn’t always register properly.
often times the grab animation starts for the killer and suddenly the survivor runs away healthy and killer stands there getting nothing out of it…

In theory it shouldn't matter but if you try to grab a survivor as soon as you're able to you'll either end up standing there like a dummy giving them a shoulder rub or you will do a basic attack instead.
It's best not to get greedy and to stand directly behind/in front of them. Especially when it comes to window/pallet grabs.

I agree with you, it has happened to me at times, however, most of the time I have grabbed a survivor from the right or from the left and I have been successful. I am of the opinion that if there is one more chance to grab a survivor from multiple angles, I take advantage of that possibility.

True, you're right, but I like to take the risk of having a better chance of grabbing a survivor from multiple angles.
