About Deathslinger
Hey guys, i wanted to ask why a lot of people puts Deathslinger in A tier, he is 110% ms, with no map pressure, i feel like even if i hit all my shots, gens still fly, any tips? Thanks

It's because of how fast he can end chases

His lack of mobility is made up for his amazing chase game, that being said you still need to pay attention to generators.

The fact that he ends chases so quickly more than makes up for his slowness in providing simple map pressure - I think this is one of the main reasons that he's as strong as he is.

if you can get a 3gen it's basically over, run ruin+undying for lots and lots of gen pressure too. corrupt+pop is a good alternative though
monitor and abuse is his best perk ever because it just... deletes his terror radius. the already quiet terror radius you can barely hear is no more.
hes 110 but he can end chases in a heartbeat. maybe try out save the best for last idk.

This pretty much.
Also, hitting shots is extremely satisfying. Not mentioning I have the anniversary costume for him from last year.
I very rarely lose my matches as DS and almost never more than 2 survivors escape. He is a force to be reckoned with.
After all, I play him for fun, not to win. Me being good with him is just the cherry ontop.
Edit: Forgot to mention, I love his chase music.

He can end chases extremely fast but you still need to play attention where you do those chases. Preferably, stick nearby a good 3 gen or just generally don't leave the gens you need to pressure for too long without beiing certain that survivors won't be brave enough to do them since they're injured or in DW.
Sometimes you can't do much if survivors perfectly split on 4 opposite sides of the map, at that point you have to play dirty and do some slugging/camping/tunneling so that you can have a chance.
Generally I wouldn't worry too much about winning/losing but insted on improving your aim and understanding of slinger's chase. Once you're really good at landing basically all of your shots you can beat near any red rank team you encounter.

Is he better than Wraith?

In looping ? By miles, he's next to nurse and spirit with power of his antiloop.
In mobility, stealth, basic 115% MM speed ? No, he's much worse at everything else. Do these matter as much as strong chase power ? Debatable
Overall, I would say he's high B tier or low A tier (pretty much as in Otz's tier list you can check out on YT) which is higher then wraith considering most people place wraith around C tier. Both killers are great nowdays, they play differently, wraith is quite weak in chase while beiing able to get a lot of stealth hits. Slinger dominates chase so much (when played perfectly) that he needs drawbacks like low mobility etc to slow him down.
I'd say play a killer you enjoy using the most as all killers even the ones in bottom tiers can do just fine in average red ranks matches. I main slinger because I love his playstyle. How fluent and threating he is at chasing with great amount of precision and quite a bit of tactical thinking going into him.
If you won't enjoy playing him then it doesn't matter if he's good since you won't have fun anyway.

Basically since his 1v1 is so devastating. And has good stealth. Despite his slowness, And the fact he can't snowball effectively without perks or add-ons due to his one shot and limited range

Just slug all 4 survivors, can't do gens if they're all bleeding out on the ground.

this.
while he is below average in pretty much every aspect of the game, the sheer strength of his chase ability makes up for all those downsides.
there barely are any killers who are able to compete with this chase powerhouse of a killer, but they also have utility build into them that makes up for that.
thats also the reason why Deathslinger imho shouldnt get any changes to him (or at least we've got to be extremely careful with those), as those could very easily push him over the edge to either Nurse / Spirit levels of power or down to Trickster levels of power (who, funnily enough, is literally a perfect example for Deathslinger done wrong).
if you wish to improve with him, here a few things that might help:
1) learn your projectile speed. He is not a hitscan killer, so you will have to aim in front of people in order to shoot them (depending on the distance between you two).
2) try aiming for them before you aim down sights. What i mean with this is, that you should try to predict their next moves and then shoot when they have little to no way of avoiding your shot. doorways, pallets (not dropped), windows, tight corridors, etc are your best friend here. I usually try to focus the center of my screen to where i want to shoot next, so that i can quickly take my gun out and take the shot at them when they do go where i wanted them to.
3) analyse the behavior of the survivors you play with. are they attempting to dodge your shots? if so, try shooting towards where you think they'll dodge. if not, aim directly at them. some people are completely oblivious to whats happening behind them, others are hyper aware. you need to be able to tell what kind of player they are if you want to be able to shoot them consistently.
4) do not loop like any other killer would. your goal when looping is not to get closer to them, your goal is to get them out of safety into your line of sight. especially around shack or T L walls, dont run around it like a normal killer would, instead try playing around the windows. get them out of cover and be at the window when they are so you can shoot them through it.
5) if you struggle with reeling in a survivor, thats okay. but unless they are healthy, never let the chain snap on you. instead go for a lunge attack as soon as the chain is about to burst, this will deny them the speedboost and you the stun, so even though you didnt reel them in, you could pull them out of position and gain some good distance on them
6) never chase without a bullet in your gun. also never chase people who are too far away, by the time you caught up with them the game is pretty much over.
