This has been an ongoing issue, the response I received was that, "We do not have the ability to control how the matchmaking ban operates due to it being system controlled." ... Power outages do happen, Computer and game crashes do happen. We shouldnt be punished by it especially when immediately after a crash we get a report to send in. So obviously the game knows it crashed... should be disabled until a better alternative is produced.

If the matchmaking ban simply didn't work on crashes, there'd be no point in it being there, since you could just turn off your PC or Alt+F4 to DC with no penalty.
It's all or nothing.
