Make Killer Easier, Survivor Harder
Nuff said, take some of the difficulty on killer and put it on survivors. Make them the ones who have to struggle and try harder. make killer still take skill (unlike survivor), but make it harder to be a survivor and actually have to try as a team to win.

I'm not in entire agreement with this post however I do agree with the fact survivors should work together more.

Damn, you could've just said that you were a Killer main. Inb4 "I've played survivor since 1982 and have 100000^4 hours in the game so I clearly know what I'm talking about!" Try playing solo queue without knowing how to loop and how to efficiently utilize your time. Unless all your teammates are god like or the Killer is a baby, you'll lose real quick.

Difficulty for either side varies. If it’s Clown with no add ons against four DS Unbreakable Soul Guards, then killer is hard and survivor is easy. If it’s MDR-Amulet Spirit against four random solo que teammates, then killer is easy and survivor is hard.

I agree with this but I don't see it happening. I'm just tired of hearing people complain about how OP killers are and how unfair the games are when in reality survivors are powerful in a different way that makes the game annoying for killers. Survivors in some cases are given a lot of hidden advantages that killers don't have.
I've had games where I hear a gen being worked on and There's no one there because they're already long gone.
the sounds don't sync up with the actual actions.
not to mention the sound mix is so bad that fire barrales blend in with gen sounds. there are a lot of things that are built into the game to make it easier on survivors. any issues with the game have been addressed with perks.

Survivor gameplay should be generally harder, but killer gameplay should not be made easier in any way.
We already have killers who can wreck teams if they're player is skilled enough, because they provide the players with the tools they need to express their skill. Make most killers like that.

Are you wanting something like gens require 2 Survivors to progress or 2 Survivors to unhook or something? Not sure what you mean by having Survivors as a team

Killers mainly need a lot of Quality of Life changes such as the removal of the auto disaim because it legit makes me motion sick on Nurse when the game is constantly wiping me around into endless pointblank misses.
I mean it was bad enough the survivors could tell the auto disaim was making me sick.

I think people sometimes forget that the game is a 4v1, so in order for the playerbase ot suit the game for ever killer player there must be 4 players waning to play survivor, which means you need to make survivor more appealing, otherwise the game will die incredibly quickyl as everyone will want to play killer.

Make survivors find parts to complete a gen. When all parts are found one survivor can build and the others hunt for the next parts or something.

Right now, killers do have the option to play Spirit or Nurse, both of whom are quite easy after a short while.

The devs want players to be able to make all these different choices in how they play (both killer and survivor): they value player agency too much. Sure, having choices is important, but structure helps make sure everyone has a good time. Most games try to balance the two, but not here. DbD players have too many ways to make everyone else in a match miserable.

I was just going to say the same thing lol. Solo survivor can be the most hopeless, miserable experience this game has to offer haha. If you made it even more difficult, the game would be left with nothing but Killers vs SWF

Need a proper matchmaking system before anything else is considered balance wise.
I just finished, as a rank 1 solo queue survivor, a game with a rank 20, rank 16, and rank 8 vs a rank 6.
Everyone died before I even got hooked once, despite me trying to take agro for them. I had 3x the points of everyone despite us all dying.
You can't make that job harder until the teams are balanced, and you can't do that without proper matchmaking.

Yah but then not everyone can get to max rank and they will be sad. Last time I remember a game with proper matchmaking was halo 2 way back in the day, since then I can't think of a game that didn't just give you high levels for playing regardless of how Ewell you play

You can't just say "survivors" after looking at SWf. People do queue up alone. It might not be as many players as SWF, but it's still in the thousands.

The game shouldn't be balanced around noob gameplay/ranks.
People can always improve their playstyle. But not when game mechanics are stacked against them, only to make life easier for new players.

You lost my interest when you said survivor doesn't take skill why ruin a good post with such a bad sentence both sides take skill killer more so but you think looping and learning to disappear mid chase comes naturally to us ha yea no it's an acquired skill
