How many OG's still play this game?
Title
Im talking about people who played since 2016 to present.
Not a lot probably. They are vey rare to spot and most keep their profiles private but you can tell if they have legacy.

I've played since release and still do, having one piece of legacy as well. DBD is still really fun to me so there's no reason to stop playing.

Don't have legacy, but I remember watching Psisyndicate play the beta and I camped the twitter and content creators twitters for keys, and I remember the beta quite well. I have been playing Nurse since her release in 2016.

Since the game doesn't balance from the top down it bleeds veteran players which means most the population is relatively new. The older players get to the peak of the game where it's good vs good and realize they lose not because they were out played but because of the games poor balance. That isn't a fun experience to have. People want to feel like they have agency over the matches outcome.

While I haven't been here since 2016 I have been in the game since October 2018, DBD no matter how frustrating it can be some times is just a blast to play. I've never been able to find a game quite like it with as much replayability and content as it (excluding Depth though I haven't played it in a while)
I haven't been very active in the game for the past few months, but I've been getting back into it recently and its very fun. Its really neat to see all the changes that have happened while I've been away

I've been here since the start in 2016, though I've taken a couple year-long breaks.
Should still have my legacy prestige nurse weapon if I check (couldn't be bothered to prestige for anything else back then). Used to main killer and hate survivors with a passion back then, now I main solo survivor - go figure.

november 2016. i miss the old times - i know a lot of things had to be changed, but the community was smaller and nice, you kinda knew the other players at red ranks, you know they are good etc. killers had to be good to outplay pallet vacuums etc and i really miss those days. i still love this game, but i dont like a lot of things about it now. toxic community, solo queue is hell, ranking up is too easy, everyone is talking about "winning" (how can an asymmetrical game can be competitve!?), its not even scary anymore when skins like an elf-dwight and a christmastree-ace running around. aaaaand so on.... i could complain a lot lol - ofc there are some great new things added too. i love DBD and its gameconcept so will keep playing i guess.
i have 4k hours but a private profile because i am a survivor main and most killers think that you are a "toxic" dbd-god when you have so many hours and dodge or go full sweat. and i just want chill games.

Would have if I was on PC at the time. Had to wait for the console release Sadge no legacy for me.

I've been playing since release. My survivor main from the start was Dwight, but I quickly switched to Ace when he came out. As for killer, I've always mained Trapper and even got two legacy pieces on him. However, in mid 2017, I lost both legacy pieces due to the game-breaking bug. To this day, I still have yet to have my legacy restored if the devs even plan to restore the lost legacy someday.

I'm an OG for console. Have been playing since it's release in 2017. Not a PC gamer though so didn't play in 2016.

I do, still not good at the game though

Most of my friend group from 2016 rarely play this game anymore. It's pretty much just me and my brother who tend to play for weeks at a time, get burnt out, find a new game, eventually get tired of that and repeat.
