Since rank reset, I have been tunneled and face camped almost every game.

The amount of baby killers who don't like being led on long chases is astonishing. I'm not even playing toxic in anyway. They just really want me dead when I don't immediately give up so they dedicate the entire game just to kill me. I should also mention that almost every game has had NOED, to the point it's not even surprising anymore. Just funny and sad, really.

They're unskilled killers, so that isn't surprising at all.

They're probably inexperienced, so they haven't learned when to drop a chase. They waste a lot of time on one survivor. If they catch that survivor, then their options are to secure at least one kill or to walk away and risk losing everything.

New killers are very likely to run NOED. For one thing, they may not have a lot of perks unlocked, and NOED is a general pool perk. For another, if they do have an actual gen slowdown perk, they may not be able to get much mileage out of it because they can't protect hexes (Ruin) or they don't get enough hooks (PGTW). They're more likely to get use out of NOED because it either slows down survivors by having them cleanse five totems or NOED pops and they get at least one down with it before it's cleansed. It's a safety net for when they have a really bad match.

It sucks that unskilled killers are getting screwed over by matchmaking, possibly more so than usual because of the bugged rank reset. I doubt they're having much fun going up against survivors who are way out of their league.

I have to admit... I tend to tunnel a bit more now....

Since DS got nerfed whenever I see an injured survivor healing or doing a gen after they got unhooked, I stop a chase and try to kill them as fast as possible, especially if they are out of position. At that point you're begging me to kill you.

    I don't use NOED tho.

Same. It's ever since the DS nerf (I never used it much before the nerf, but I damn sure use it now). It's constant. I just tried to play DBD for awhile as a Solo , and after two matches, 2 depips- both Killers hard-camped and tunneled so survivors just started disconnecting or hook suicide.

I've just given up. I played two matches. Both the same shite- turned it off lol.

Here is a fun story. I cleared one side of the map of most pallets and the survivors screwed up and didn't do the gens on the side they were being chased the most. This lead to a 4 gen.

When the survivors attempted to bait me away do you think they ran me to an unsafe area where they could buy a little time for the save and heal, or do you think they tried to bait me to the empty part if the map full of pallets?

    Killers are not robots.

This being said, tunnelling has become insane in solo q and i seem to be the only one running decisive strike. Perhaps if survivors stopped pouting and ran it again, things would change.

Running DS doesn't do anything about tunneling; it literally doesn't punish or counter it in any way; hell, it's very easy to deactivate it by accident because of incredibly bad thought processes in its nerf.

A lot of killers mains nowadays have this mindset of their fun costs the survivors any kind of enjoyment. Now I get that's technically the point of the game. But the tunneling and camping and just outright bad behavior has increased so much the last few months in this game. And no running DS will not change that. It's hard to enjoy or even get a decent match anymore cuz literally every match plays out almost exactly the same as the last. I know I'm gonna get grief for this but I'm not wrong. Game just isn't fun anymore that's why I stopped. The toxic players outweigh the good ones by so much that the those rare good/fun matches you get don't make it worth the constant frustration and anger other matches cause.

Isn't the killer allowed to have a bit of fun too? Take it as a compliment. I laugh when I get tunneled and face camped because it means they think letting me get unhooked would lose them the game. It's actually pretty funny to me. Try not to take it so seriously. It's just a game.
