Just curious. Is self care after pallet stun considered a BM?

When I play survivor and pallet stun the killer, I tend to self care until the killer starts breaking the pallet. In one game the killer seems annoyed and smacked me on the hook and I got tunnelled right off the hook. To killer mains, will that annoy you? What if I spam m1 while self-caring?

    I don't think so, no.

Disrespectful maybe, I might try to style on someone if they did that, since they don't really consider me a threat, but I wouldn't say it's BM.

I have no problem with that. Why should I? The survivor knows that the killer is busy with the pallet, and if he has the confidence to heal himself at that moment instead of running, he can do it.

I just laugh you gain less distance. Also i run brutal on some killers which surprises survivors.

If its done to just spam the animation to annoy the killer, I guess. Otherwise I suppose its a valid move I suppose if the heal bar is close or they are trying to pull the killer away from their team

Either-way it keeps em in my line of sight and cuts down on how far they can run before I finish breaking the pallet

So let go for it, I guess

I always considered that a form of T-bag, I didn't even know some of you make that for saving time in the next healing.

It's a bit rude, since you're acting like you don't consider the killer a threat. But it's not something I'd get tilted over in a vacuum - I'd need to see other signs of BMing, or truly and well getting looped to high heaven, to start taking it personally. After all, the purpose is obvious.

It triggers bad memories for some killers, back when that was an actually uncounterable winning strategy due to the speed of early Self Care and the sheer amount of pallets on the map...

Okay, it was mostly because of the speed of old Self Care.

Yes, some killers will consider it BM.

You're just trying to heal some while being chased. You don't always get away with it but it doesn't hurt to try but you might end up with less distance to get away, though. No, it's not BM. You're just healing. If that's BM then Killers who don't let you wiggle off is BM. Why is that? It's because they're just doing what they're supposed to do. Carry you to a hook. I can't believe people even think that healing yourself is BM.

Yeah its a form of bm.

It's basically saying "im so good there's no way you can get me so im just going to heal right in your face".

In realitity this doesn't work very well against good killers because survivors are sacrificing distance by bming

No, it's just a strategy to try and gain another health state mid-chase. You're sacrificing distance to do it so if you pull it off that's actually quite cool imo.

Healing has been nerfed a lot but if I have a medkit I'll heal at pallets the killer has to break for an extra health state, but I usually run healing builds. I mean nothing by it except that I want to spend more time with you. There's so much of the map we can go explore together!

Huh, I find Self-Care to be so slow that I wouldn't think it was even worth bothering at a time like that. What do you get, like one sixth of your health back?

As a killer I wouldn't be offended though. That seems kind of silly. The person's taking their brief opportunity to try to heal, I wouldn't take it as some personal slight.

It depends on context. In some cases, it can look like a taunt, because you pallet stunned them for no reason (you're not using the time to run away), and you're so confident they can't get you that you'll stand there and self-care while you wait. If it's clear that you're way better at chase, and this is extra salt in the wound, then it's kind of rude. If you self-care because it's a tense chase and this is your best chance to survive, or because you're using it as a lever to tempt the killer to move from the position they're camping, that's different.

Some might think so, but I never have because I've never seen someone complete a heal with it. With a juiced medkit, only once or so. As for Self Care, I've only seen a heal once pre-nerfs, and it took about 8 strong loops + pallets to do it.

If you self care using medical supplies that have an enema kit within it, then it can absolutely lead to a harsh BM.

Be careful if that is the case - there's no functional restrooms in the entity's world as far as I know.
