As a killer main I know what they should change in BT
Nothing
Edit: I like the idea that uhooked survivor don't have collision with killer, but I don't think that this perk is really a problem that much as other perks

ah yes noed, take one perk slot, which is a lot. I prefer using perks to slown down gens than perk that give me one kill, only if I am camping

I am saying about camping survivor in endgame while using noed, that's why I don't like using this perk, because I need to pressure gens, I don't want one kill with camping, yeah camping is sometime needed, but I don't want to lose one perk slot for noed when I can use it for ruin or pop and have more than one kill

I think BT should be reverted back to its original version, which protected both survivors but could only be used once.
I know I shouldn't want this... but I do.

It's not rewarding zero effort for survivors, it's countering zero effort on the killer's end, whether that be camping, or immediately running back to an unhooked survivor to tunnel (which even then, is easy for killer to bypass by waiting 12 seconds).
The new BT shouldn't bother anyone who doesn't camp or tunnel.

Borrowed Time is just as easily countered as NOED, even more easily in fact. You don’t have to do anything except chase one of the other 3 survivors, which is what you probably should be doing anyway. It’s countered by standard killer gameplay.
If you’re not sure where to go after a hook then I can recommend BBQ or Thrilling Tremors to point you to your next chase.

Why are you assuming everyone uses BT before the killer even leaves the hook? And even if that were always the case, there's a whole second person to go after that isn't working on gens or doing anything else. You're making my argument for me lol

It doens't even successfully prevent tunneling if they just wait...

All that needs to be done is making it so unhooked survivors affected by BT have no collision for the duration to discourage BT bodyblocking.

So are we going to prevent an invisible wraith from bodyblocking a window? or a survivor bodyblocking a hook when a killer tries to put them on it? When you open that door, where does it end?
It's a strategic play, with a risk to the person who's using BT of going back down and on a hook again.

the bt change we all need is shirtless Myers

I dislike current BT as whenever it's had an effect in my games I haven't been camping but the survivors come zooming over coming to take a protection hit.
Do one of the 3: Add a range requirement, reduce the time even further or remove collision.

Using BT for bodyblocking is pretty much abusing the perk, it's supposed to discourage tunneling which is why most killers go for the unhooker after someone uses BT in front of them.
It's a strategy that I'm fine with but it's honestly annoying to go against.

I'm fine with bodyblocking, I'm talking about BT bodyblocking after getting unhooked.

This is true and I agree it's annoying and a careless play most times, I just wonder how we draw the line between acceptable and unacceptable bodyblocking.
1 -
It's up to you man, you do you :P

They just need to show the killer that it's active before it comes into effect.
Making the survivor with Endurance not be able to bodyblock would also be nice, but not necessary if my first suggestion was implemented.

It's funny how killers have to always assume survivors are running meta perks so we have to bait dead hards, not hit unhooked people, not pick up someone who was hooked within a minute and not slug.
But survivors don't have to give a ######### about killer perks. They don't do bones to counter NOED since they will just abandon whoever gets hit by it, they 99% the gate so blood warden is useless, they don't give a ######### about BBQ because by the time the killer gets to them they can finish 5 gens and run to a safe loop, etc etc.

How is 99ing gates different from slugging to prevent DS, for example? You contradicted yourself in your response, clearly survivors do play around killer perks. Leaving early is a way of playing around NOED even if you don’t like it.
I can only speak for myself but when I play survivor I’m mindful not to heal in killer terror radius, not to open the gates too early, to hide my aura to avoid BBQ (unless I want to be spotted), to run and work on that gen that just went yellow, to do totems, not to tap a regressing gen when the killer just hooked someone, and so on. Playing around your opponent’s perks is part of the game for both sides.

Uhh because the survivor can get picked up or use unbreakable meanwhile the killer can't use perks or do anything against a 99% gate?
How do you compare a stun for the killer that can ruin his entire match and punishes him for killing to an exploit?
And no, people don't play around NOED. As I said, they don't care about NOED. The killer has to assume the survivor has all 4 meta perks, even if they don't. Not picking up someone who doesn't have DS but the killer thinks he has DS can ruin the killer's match. Meanwhile Survivors don't go around doing dull totems to prevent NOED because survivors have the luxury of not having to worry about perks the killer doesn't have.

Right, when you have survivors not rely on windows because of fear of bamboozle like how killers can't afford to slug 2 people over fear of unbreakable, or when you have people not rely on lockers because the killer might have Iron Maiden like how you have killers have to wait before hitting someone over fear of dead hard, etc you tell me how survivors play around the killer's perks.

I think they should remove collosion so the killer cant bodyblock the BT person into a corner or something and the person with BT cant bodyblock the killer. Other than that its perfect and honestly it should be buffed back up to 15 seconds.

Agreed. Most people complaining about it probably weren't around when it use to apply to both the unhooked and the rescuer. Compared to those days, the perk is in a good spot now.
0 -
The killer can open the gate.
Why did you ignore all of my examples to talk about Iron Maiden? Iron Maiden is a meme perk so the only time anyone is gonna play around it is against a Huntress. Do you regularly worry about survivors having meme perks like Technician? No, I didn’t think so.
It sounds to me like you don’t play survivor very often (if at all) if you think they don’t take perks like Bamboozle into consideration when playing, lol.

You're not alone. I miss the old BT myself.
With old BT, your entire team could actually escape the basement alive.
1 -
Oh, I am surprised to see that, my friend. I was expecting to stand alone on this one.
I actually never experienced old BT myself, but I've seen countless videos about it. I think it was a very interesting perk, to be honest.
0 -
Definitely not alone. A ton of survivors would love to see the old BT return.
I can understand why the devs nerfed it ages ago. The game was much more survivor-sided back then. But now that things have been balanced out more, I wouldn't mind seeing the perk return myself. BT back in the day really was a strong anti-snowball perk.
1 -
Yeah, perhaps I should've known some survivors actually want it back. But I am used to have unpopular opinions, so there is that.
And I suppose I understand why the devs changed it. Its anti-snowball potential truly is amazing, and perhaps it was a little bit too strong back in the day. However, the patch which changed it was 1.9.2 and everything that comes from that patch is questionable.
