When PH was coming out people on the forums had me convinced it was Candyman and we were wrong. No matter the evidence, I won't believe who the killer is until they get here.

Also I don't think its Dimitrescu as she isn't really an interesting character in RE8, infact isn't her 30 minutes of glory cut short quickly?

If it was gonna be anyone from RE 8, I see Heisenberg being a more likely character. Lady Dimitrescu isn't even the main bad guy of RE 8 and you get rid of her fairly quickly, I don't know why she was the baddie hyped so much, Heisenberg is a much more interesting character with potential for abilities, and he wasnt killed in the first couple hours of playing

No they didn't. If so, can you please provide the source? They've said in the past they won't debunk peoples ideas because it makes it easier to figure out the character, especially when licensed.

There are too many other hints that go against the killer being from newer games.
However if the killer was from the newer ones, Jack or Heisenberg would be the best choices. Personally, I hope it's Nemesis or Birkin though.

I still think they will have brought Alice, a Licker, and some kind of power that involves Zombie Bots in, i.e. characters from the first movie. This isn't based on my own preference or anything like that, but rather because doing the more iconic types would be difficult to say the least, and they might save them for later, expanded releases. Moreover, awhile back they said something about the "stars" were going to be out in upcoming releases, and that usually implies something cinematic.
Whoever the Killer and Survivor turn out to be, I just hope the new Killer's power somehow relates to some Zombie Bots, nothing too deadly but enough to challenge. It might be nice if they gave us something we can attack and kill (like we do Victor). Consider the Zombies as slow moving, rather dumb creatures that will go after Survivors they see and potentially we can attack them back. Might be just the shot in the arm the game needs. Besides, the big Killer (whomever it may be) would still be standard DbD indestructible.
