A quick question for Trickster Mains
Anybody else find that the Survivors are much more likely to swarm you, body block you, go for flashlight saves, finish gens in your face, etc. against you when you're on Trickster vs anyone else you used to play?
Like... I had horrid luck with perks after I P3'd him and on a whim went "Hey, Agitation's a decent perk and I haven't got anything better... sure let's run it." Now I'm strongly considering never taking it off because game after game Survivors try to be cheeky when I pick somebody up and with Agitation's help I'm able to slap them down hard. This can't possibly be just me running into this, can it? Like, I don't really mind so much because they keep dying horribly because of it... but... I'm just baffled why I keep having this happen.

My way build for him is a backpack build, Iron Grasp, Starstruck, Agitation, and Mad Grit. I'm by no means a Trickster main or any good with him but I have found people seem more likely to swarm him. I think the reason that is is the Tricksters that have absolutely annihilated me have all been rocking MYC and Devour.

I gotta ask, don't your Survivors head for the hills when Starstruck activates? I know I would if I faced it. I've not tried it mind you, I just would figure they'd leave asap.

They run away at first but when they see how bad I am with him they get really cocky and I get a few extra hooks off of them. Granted by that point almost all of the gens are done and I'm left trying to secure one or two kills before they all escape lol

That's what happens when they get brainwashed into thinking a killer is trash and the few times they see a trickster he's probably really bad. They're conditioned to think Trickster is never a threat. They have the same behavior for Clown, Trapper and Nurses when they see you can't blink not even if your life depended on it.
It's like some toxic switch turns on immediatly when they see those killers. I've had survivors on death hook do gens and totems in front of me because "it's a trickster, who cares" and if you kill em they immediatly cry in chat about how you're a camping or tunneler or whatever.

Trickster did get a buff a bit ago. Honestly that buff makes him quite a bit better and just feel better to play. Main Event could still use a tune up, but I definitely don't think he's the worst killer anymore.

Haven't seen a Trickster as Survivor in awhile... it's depressing.
Anyways while I'm playing him I do notice Survivors being a lot bolder about doing gens in my face, and it's lead some of these people to be camped since I end up hooking them next to the generator they keep swarming in my face. I run Starstruck on him, so I don't get that much body blocking.

It’s probably because his knives don’t actually interrupt actions like repairing

No, because once they see how fast I start knocking them down in chase they get really intimidated and start playing stealthy. If you start knocking people down left and right then they will get less cocky usually.

I dont really get any survivors swarm me when I play any killer, and I dont use Agitation/Starstruck, when they do tho the moment they realize how fast theyre getting downed they stop, his add ons can be quite devastating
Favorite combinations to run:
Fizz Spin Soda + Ji Woons Autograph
Fizz Spin Soda + Caged Heart Shoes
Caged Heart Shoes + Killing Part Chords
Edge of Revival Album + Cut Thru U Single
The last set of add ons actually make Trickster a menace, aim at their feet and the blade goes through them and shatters on the ground which is 1.5 laceration. People can't go for hook saves in front of you either since you melt both people, ESPECIALLY if you have Main Event active

The knives dont even have any effect unless you chain 8 of them. You can just keep repairing while getting hit with 7 knives-
