You can rework one killer. Who would it be?
You can rework them even if they already have been reworked before. Can be a full power rework like Freddy or something smaller like bubba.
I’d go with Nurse personally. I would probably just give her an entirely different power but if we are sticking to blinks I would make her 110% and make her unable to blink past her line of sight (no full walls pretty much). This would reinforce her current counterplay and make her more forgiving to new players picking her up.

Control+Alt Delete Modern Freddy and replace him with Old Freddy. Except the gen-teleport, that can stay.

Legion. Their kit is average RN but something that prevents me from enjoying them more is how their power only provides the first hit.

Do you even have to ask, my friend? If there is one killer who needs a change, it is our boy Freddy:
Pull survivors into the Dream World
-Survivors who are awake do not see The Nightmare.
-Once targeted by The Nightmare’s power, survivors enter the Dream Transition for 7 seconds.
-During the Dream Transition Survivors can see glimpses of The Nightmare and they suffer from the Incapacitated status effect.
-When the Dream Transition Lapse, the Survivor is pulled into the Dream World.
Once in the Dream World:
-Survivor’s auras are revealed to The Nightmare when they are outside of his terror radius.
-Survivors suffer an action speed penalty of 40%.
-To exit the Dream World, Survivors can find non-sleeping Survivors to perform a wake up action.
-Failed Generator Skill Checks can also wake up.
-Hooked Survivors wake up.
Special Ability: Dream Projection
-Teleport to a Generator in view. Releasing the button early will cancel the action.
-Survivors cannot interact with the targeted Generator.
-For each Survivor in the Dream World, the cool-down of using Dream Projection is reduced by stack-able 20%.
“You have nothing to worry about. This won’t hurt one… little… bit.” -Freddy Krueger
I am honestly quite satisfied with this change. I tried my best to come up with a perfect version of Freddy, one which made him strong fun to play as. I hope I've succeeded.
Edit: I forgot some extra details, here they are:
-The Nightmare’s Movement Speed Penalty for putting a survivor into the Dream Transition lasts for 1 second, as it originally was.
-The Nightmare has a 24 metres Terror Radius
-Dying Survivors who are healed to the Injured State aren’t automatically woken up.

Yep, that is precisely the way it should be done! Old Freddy with mobility would be sweet.
1 -
Myers, probably 2nd to weakest killer in the game and his power is extremely out dated.
1 -
I don't hate that idea, but Freddy needs to feel like Freddy like he did before rework. He can't suck like before obviously, but at least it felt like FREDDY.
Besides that, I think people should be looking at Wraith as a pure example of what not to be. He always will be bad. His ability is frustrating on both sides, not fun to play as or against.

I have two answers for this question.
For my killer games, i wanna rework Freddy. Then i can get my old boi back. And with buffs ofcourse because old version was unique and fun but weak. So buff him and get him back.
For my survivor games, i wanna rework Spirit. She is so op and annoying. So she needs some changes.
0 -
Old Freddy in general would be sweet, but yes, him with Modern Freddy's teleport would be even better.
1 -
That would be good buff for Old Freddy but he is still weak. Because survivors can awake so easyly. For more changes, survivors can not wake up each other + failing skill checks can not awake you. Only if you get hooked or you will go to clock. More buffs like that would make him good tier.
But no, we have boring killer right now.
0 -
Trickster, his whole power is so bad that its close to impossible to buff, and giving him 115% ms will just make every trickster never use their power
2 -
Clown

Yes, as much as I like the teleport I wouldn't mind having Old Freddy back the exact same way he used to be. That is good enough for me.
1 -
Indeed. Any way to play as our boy would a dream come true.
1 -
And a beautiful dream it is!

Failing a Generator Skill-Check to wake up is okay, in my opinion. Some Old Freddy builds had Overcharge for this reason.
However, failing a healing Skill-Check to wake up was a problem. And trust me, I don't want to deal with a Self-Care mid-chase ever again.
0 -
Indeed it is, my friend. Indeed it is.
1 -
Out of curiosity, what was your build on him? I was actually thinking about this yesterday.
My build was something like Old Ruin, BBQ, Thanatophobia and Fire Up. Not the best Old Freddy build out there, but that was what my early 2019 self came up with.
1 -
Just rework freddy to old freddy with gen tp then hed be decent.
1 -
We all agree with that, don't we? If only the devs listened...
1 -
I have to disagree.
Old Freddy was underrated in my opinion. In the right hands, he could be a low mid-tier. If you give him Modern Freddy's teleport, I think he could a pretty good killer. He might need a few more small buffs, but we'd have to see how he preforms.
1 -
Personally i found old freddy unique and very fun with his complete invis and then suddenly you feel yourself drifting to sleep. He was wraith but instead of uncloaking to hit you hed sleep you then smack you. Gave the survivors some warning to get to a loop.
3 -
Yes that was so annoying. And other annoying part, in end game awake survivors bodyblocking for sleepy survivor. And you can not hit them. But this all problems had easy solves. Rework and kill him was meh, i mean yes Freddy is so strong now but where is fun part?
For example, in end game everyone will fall asleep and noone can awake. That would stop bodyblock. Failing generator build was good yes but that was stucking him those perks. About i like new Freddy, he is so good. You can use so many good builds on him. Some buffs would make Old Freddy like this and fun.
I just miss trolling survivors sometimes. I was trying hit them when they were awake. And they were trying escape and hide somewhere. Because invisible was so fun power. And they had not any idea where i am, except Freddy's song.

At the time I was a survivor main who was only like a purple rank killer.
I think my build was something along the lines of BBQ, Old Ruin, Overcharge, and Bloodwarden/Noed. I know it wasn't the best, but then again neither was I at playing killer at the time.
That's actually one of the biggest reasons I want Old Freddy back. I want to see how he'd preform with the new perks we have, and now that I'm much better at killer I want to give him another shot.
1 -
I would rework Deathslinger. And the rework would be:
- Breaking the chain will only apply the deep wound effect on injured survivors. But Deathslinger's fatigue is reduced from 4 seconds to 3 seconds. The survivors will have a 5% reduced movement speed for 5 seconds.
- His ADS activation/deactivation is the same(0.15 seconds). But when he deactivates his ADS, he can't activate it against for 0.8 seconds. But to make up for this, his reload time is reduced from 2.75 seconds to 2.15 seconds.
2 -
Myers. He desperatly needs a whole rework. Then Spirit. She can't be nerfed, since any nerf that makes her fair for survivors make her trash. So I would say just change her power. Same goes with Trickster, will never be balanced.
0 -
Either Freddy or Clown. Since I don't have an quick idea on how to change Clown to my personal preference I will go for Freddy.
Revert all the changes and give us back old Freddy with some tweaks.
1 -
And you are completely right, my friend. He was unique, fun, and extremely underrated.
1 -
Ah, I see. Well, it doesn't sounds like a bad build at all. That Overcharge alone already makes it better than mine lol.
And yes, it would be nice to see how he would perform with the new perks we have. Not to mention the lack of infinite loops (or most of them, at least).
1 -
Yes, that is what must be done!
1 -
I wonder what modern perks would be good on Old Freddy? Maybe Hex: Crowd Control for stopping survivors from vaulting over and over while they're falling asleep? It's an interesting prospect.
1 -
Hag: Give her some better counterplay.
0 -
That’s understandable. Having her one counterplay option being an item is kinda dumb
1 -
Spirit. I think she would be quite fun to play if she wasn't so awful to play against.
0 -
That makes sense. I feel the same way playing deathslinger where I feel bad for survivors a lot of the time
0 -
Sounds interesting, especially when going against people who actually played against him back in the day, as I suppose they would recall a few tricks. New Ruin and Oppression are also good choices, imo.
1 -
Oppression could be counter productive if they fail on purpose. There is no extra regression and they could be quite far away.
Im interested about surge though since the gen blow up animation plays when it activates. Would that wake them up?
0 -
I was actually thinking about Oppression for information, but you're right on that one.
As for Surge, I think it would wake them up, but I am not sure. There is only one way of knowing...
0 -
Nurse. Her teleport just needs to go away and be replaced with something else. Her kit has always been a problem. A player that takes time to learn the Nurse is unbeatable. Sure it's hard to learn the nurse, but once you do, the survivors have no counter play. Teleport totally negates any counter play.
1 -
Couldn’t agree more
0 -
What about Dragons Grip? Since one of survivor's main ways of waking up is by interacting with a gen and getting a skill check, Freddy could force them to become exposed by kicking the gen if they want to wake up. If they stay asleep, they are incredibly vulnerable to Freddy, and if they touch the gen to try and wake up they get exposed. It's a win-win for Freddy.
0 -
Ok, I completely forgot about this perk because I've used it only once, for Adept Blight. But this is a very good suggestion.
They will be either exposed or vulnerable to the insane slowdown and they cannot hide because Dream Demon locked on through walls. I can see it working. I can definitely see it working.
1 -
I don't blame you for forgetting this perk exists. It's honestly pretty bad most of the time.
But yeah, I can see this perk working very well on Old Freddy. Let's hope one day we get to test it.
1 -
Another advantage of this perk is the fact that it is unpredictable. I mean, who expects a killer to have it? And when they realise it, sometimes it is already too late.
We will get to test it, my friend, we will. I doubt BHVR will keep Freddy the way he currently is. I know I wouldn't.
1 -
True, it's unpredictable nature would make the perk more threatening.
The amount of backlash I've seen for Modern Freddy is nearly unmatched. Behavior needs to swallow their pride and realize that the Freddy rework simply failed.
1 -
That is true. If they don't want to completely erase his new power, they could at least let us choose between old and new.
We know they still have the assets of his old power, hitting a survivor with the Endurance status effect is further prove of that. It is about time the devs admit that they've screwed up.
1 -
Indeed. The least they could do is give us some sort of toggle to let us choose between Modern and Old Freddy.
2 -
Precisely what I was thinking about. It saddens me that they haven't done it yet.
1 -
It's kind of shocking how they haven't done this yet. It would take very little effort, yet be such a big improvement.
1 -
The spirit
I choose her over the twins because the twins at least still has counterplay and some interaction, spirit has nothing really.
0 -
It is sad, to be honest. I mean, it is not like they don't know Old Freddy mains want their killer back.
