New PTB Matchmaking is PERFECT
Yeah, it's not like I've been waiting for 30 minutes for a lobby, and not a single survivor has joined.

Matchmaking can't match you with people who aren't there. PTB dies out pretty quickly; you need friends for KYF matches.

Survivors usually don't bother for more than a few hours because they want points, and everyone else is playing Killer. Also, every time I try to get a group of people for KYF during the PTB, even if I speak directly to people like you, nobody seems interested. They'd rather complain than be part of the solution.

Why play the PTB... When you can freely use every good addon / item or offering without losing them.
You get no points.
Once you see the content all you can think about is how you'd rather be in the live game so that you can...
Get points.
People still try hard on the PTB, so why bother playing try hard in the PTB when you can try hard in regular matches and get.....
Points.
No bloodpoints... No rewards.... No point.
Edit... One more issue is the Devs don't seem to like to inform players when they do the snapshot of the live save files. So you can't plan ahead of time to have 1 million BP before starting the PTB. If you don't have the points then you have to actually earn up some points to spend. So 100% complete waste of time to spend a couple of hours leveling up so you can try a couple of things and get no reward for doing it.
This part is by far the biggest reason why I don't bother.

This is so stupid. I still don't understand how they cannot just give everybody every perk, addon and offering in the PTB. And make it unranked. Since there is no risk and no reward, it's just to test things out, why not do that? I mean, how can I test the new killer when I get loaded into the game with (no joke) <4000 bloodpoints. I am playing with 1 perk. #########? At least let me try perk combinations and his addons. Cause I'm not gonna be able to farm them when it takes 30 minutes to get a full lobby.

Get a group and play KYF. You'll have access to everything. Note how you ignored my suggestion, as per usual with people who complain about this.

You generally do just that... which is boring. There isn't the whole risk factor in it, which makes it unfun. I don't want to join on the PTB so I can play KYF.
Kind of like playing KYF in the live version... 0 point to is in my eyes, since you don't get bloodpoints.
I generally play solo aswell, so would rather test it out as a solo player.
Besides... If KYF is the way people should do test so you can try everything out... Then why can't the Devs just give every save file everything anyways... Why even have Bloodpoints.. Why not just make it so you can buy anything you want... Level up as much as you want... Cause once you go back to live it is gone anyways.
Seems kinda crappy when people say... Don't test unless you got friends to test with... Kinda goes against the whole putting it in the PTB so everyone can play it.
That is why your KYF gets somewhat ignored. I'm not interesting in testing with my friends... It is like asking the Developer who writes the game to test their game. They aren't really testing it as it should be done.

Orion is offering an olive branch, take it and take turns playing both sides.
Most PTB's everyone want to try the killer, survivor lobbies generally pop faster for that reason, its just how it is, there is also no incentive to play the PTB for a lot of people when they can just play the normal game and keep farming, if they rewarded every person who played a certain amount of time to help test with 250k bloodpoints I would bet a lot more would play it.
