Question about Franklin's Demise
If you have the blindness status effect do you still see the aura of your dropped item? Has anyone ever tested this?

No, you don't. Blindness completely covers the auras of anything.
Barbecue, Franklin's, Murmurs, etc.
(Side note: Being blinded and somehow getting Barbecue (or a hook in general) would be a damn achievement.)

What?, i don't think killers can get blindness.

I'm not talking about flashlight blindness, I'm talking about the status effect that survivors get from something like Hex: The Third Seal or any number of killer add-ons.

Survivors never could see the aura unless they were using Plunderer's Instinct, which is aura reading and can be affected by blindness.

You need to have plunderers to see the aura of items. Even if the killer has franklins, the survivors won't see their dropped items

Only survivors can suffer from the Blindness status effect, which blocks any and all aura-reading. Killers getting blinded by flashlights or crackers just applies a visual effect blocking their view of anything, it doesn't apply a status effect.
