I really hoping good perks with RE chapter

Cheryl was last person, who came with good perks. Last 3 chapters meh perks. I never seeing anyone using last 3 chapter survivor perks. So i really hoping for good perks with that chapter. Give us more option for use, change meta.

I dont agree with you, Yun Jin and Elodie got really good perks.

I just hope the killer perks are some type of gen slow down that will synergize with ruin/undying so games can possibly last for 45 minutes instead of 30.

Yun and Elodie got one good perk each. Cheryl was the last survivor to get two very useful perks. that's just my opinion.

Its not because people dont know how to play with those perks that they are bad.

Yeah, would be nice, but since they nerfed Lucky Break before release, I dont have high hopes for good Survivor Perks. I mean, I did not have the hope for them since two years, but now, even less.

You just dont know how to use their perks, but thats not a problem, it works really well for me ;)

You are both right. What is good for you may not be good for someone else. For example, Smash Hit and Deception are good perks imo. Are they meta? No. It doesn't make them any worse, but I guess some people only consider perks as good if they are meta worthy.

Why are they meta ? Not because they are the best perks, just because they are easy to use and effective.

they need to stop adding perks and just have chapters dedicated to balance.

I know how to use perks, problem is they are not good enough.
Appraisal - Chest perk, i am only using when i have search chest mission. Normal times, it is not worth it.
Deception - This perk can be good with some builds. But you can not use everytime.
Power Struggle - Situational perk and %90 of times you can not use that perk. That can be good on some builds but those builds also so situational.
3 perks, only 1 perk is not bad.
Fast Track - This perk is not good. We already have better options for genrushing. And those perks does not need to sacrifice of your teammates. But this one wants that. Bad perk.
Smash Hit - Situational perk and if you are playing with good ranks, killers respecting pallets. So most of times you will not use that. Lithe, Spirint Burst and Dead Hard are better than this one.
Self-Preservation - This perk is also useless. Because if killer is hit someone near you, it depends on whether the killer saw you or not. If killer sees you, 10 seconds no scratch marks, blood will not save you. If killer is not sees you, so you are already safe, you do not need this perk.
3 perks, all bad.
And Felix has also bad perks. So last 9 perks were so useless for survivors.

Appraisal its bad.
Deception work with any build, its a very good perk alone.
Power Struggle one of the best perk against slugging killers, and there are a lot of them lol
Fast Track one of the best perk for genrushing, its a brand new part as a perk
Smash Hit best exhaustion perk

We agree with Appraisal, Deception and Self Preservation.
Power Struggle could be good perk but it is so situational. Killer has to walk on pallet when carrying you. Or you also need Flip-Flop and you will go to pallet. And then killer will carry you and that will work. I mean when this works, that will be perfect. But most of times that will not happen, we both know. So i can not say that is good perk.
Fast Track is really so bad perk. You will finish one gen so fast but cost is your teammates suffers. And that will help your escape? I do not think so. Egc is killerside, so even you finish gen alone you will die %90. And i will put Prove Thyself for genrushing. PT is more effective and stronger and also gives you more points.
Smash Hit is also bad. I would say that is worst exhaustion perk but there is Head-On. That perk can be useful only low ranks. Because red rank killers respecting pallets so much.

Everytime I play with Power Struggle I got one or two pallet hit.
Smash Hit bad because red ranks killers are respecting the pallets ? Are we playing the same game ? In my experince only low ranks killers respects the pallets. Ive faced a lot of rank one killers that tried to hit me threw pallets. Only low ranks killers are afraid of the stun.
And what I like the most with those two perks, use them both. Its very powerful and underrated.

Who cares about 3 new perks? There are dozen of old perks which deserve a rework. So the change for a good perk is higher.

I am glad you liked those perks but for me they are useless because i have better options. For that i wanna see different and effective perks because last 3 chapters did not give me anything useful.

I doubt we'll see any really strong perks to come with the new chapter. The devs are much more careful with newer perks which means they are less likely to be meta defining perks.

Maybe only Smash Hit i can give chance because 4 seconds 150% speed is good. But other perks have not chance. And thank you :)

Why on earth would you want a game to last 45 minutes?! I can only imagine banging my head against a wall instead of getting looped for 45 minutes as a killer lol xD Gosh I hope most games only last 10-15 minutes because your experience I believe maxes out at 10 minutes which is sad tbh. On a side note have they fixed that yet?

Dont forget that Smash Hit is the best counter to Spirit Fury, it was the best discovery with this perk.

You'll still need toi be careful because killers can swing through pallets if timing and distance is correct.

Deception and power struggle are niche and mediocre garbage
Appraisal is a looting perk AKA thrown on a white ward with no item and just loot chests while everyone dies and contribute nothing to the team. It's not even the best looting perk, but it pairs well with others. At that point you're basically throwing though.
Fast track is not good. If you are getting any significant amount of bonus progress out of it, it means you are losing badly and it's nowhere near enough to come back.
Smash Hit is probably the worst exhaustion perk, maybe better than head on but that's it.
Self preservation is mediocre garbage.
Soul guard and repressed alliance are niche but at least they're dominant in their niche.

As killer I've swung through many pallets getting and getting stunned as a trade off.

Me too, but I was speaking in the scenario where the killer uses Spirit Fury and the survivor Smash Hit

still be careful it still applies you could still get hit as you get the stun. and the pallet will break because spirit fury so basically it was all for nothing.

I play both sides (survivor little more) and Im careful with pallet stun, I prefer getting hit and not use the pallet. I would say 80% of the time I stunned the killer Im not getting hit.
But I will still be careful.
And I can still improve myself at the game, im not bad but still far from a streamer gameplay ! ^^

Since there is a big hype around the chapter, the perks will be unfortunately pretty meh...
Also the killer power is going to be low-mid tier...
So please don't be disappointed, don't wait strong perks or powers.
