I'm tired of people treating Legion and Deep Wounds like a joke

He's not a joke, you're thinking of Trickster.

I give deep wounds to people working on a gen, AND THEY KEEP WORKING ON IT, they don't give a ######### about deep wounds, I've had people finish gens in my face with deep wounds on and still not die from it despite it taking them over 10 seconds. I've had people even CLEANSE TOTEMS while having the deep wounds timer on.

Deep wounds should be like the Pig's trap. If you're not in a chase, then you have to mend or you die. Waiting until last second to mend is ridiculous. There is nothing people with Deep Wounds don't do. Gates, Unhooks, Gens, Totems, etc.

I'd be fine with that change. I like Legion a lot but he just isn't viable for me right now.

Deep wounds are just a bad mechanic that really doesn’t need to exist. Legion caused to to exist and it’s been a problem ever since

Oh, that's interesting. I didn't know it had been changed already. Surely there's a middle ground, though.

I would change it that the deepwound timer is 5 seconds.

But everytime you run or mend the timer is refreshed.

No more gens done in your face and Legion can't force a down anymore by making you repeatetly vault when your mend bar is low.

    Win win for all

I can guarantee you those same people would still be finishing that gen in front of other killer’s faces.

I’ve had people commit and finish a gen in front of my T3 Michael.

It’s just an optimal thing to do, has nothing to do with treating killers like a joke.

Honestly, you have DEEP WOUNDS that are making you BLEED TO DEATH; Any action aside from mending should make it tick down faster:

Doing a gen? Deep Wounds timer speeds up.

Running (While not in a chase/TR)? Deep Wounds speeds up.

Doing a totem? Deep Wounds speeds up.

Or, at the very least: If you are self-mending & hit 0; you incap. This does not happen if someone ELSE is mending you.

This would prevent people from ignoring 99% of the timer to self-mend with 1 second left.

Deep Wounds is Derp Wounds; I hit you! Now I have to run away because I can't hit you again or my power ends! But you can mend before I hit anyone else! Oh! And if I attack normally (which I have to do to down you), I lose 50% of my power gauge!

    Another way to fix Legion:

If everyone is afflicted with Deep Wounds from the same use of Feral Frenzy; he can now incap one person struck, EXCEPT the last person he hit with Feral Frenzy.

Basically; he hits Dwight, Then Meg, Then Claudette, Then Nia, in that order? He can now pick if he wants to incap Dwight, Meg, or Claudette by finding & attacking them again. Provided they have not healed Deep Wounds.

So if Dwight heals, then he has to pick from Meg and Claudette. If all 3 heal, then he has to inflict Deep Wounds on everyone again, then pick anyone but the last person hit, again.

This would force people to mend as quickly as possible, while giving Legion an incap threat, but only to one target at a time.

As it is; his power is utter trash. He's like a really gimmiky, terrible Wraith; both zip around the map as fast as possible, but at least Wraith's bell does not break for 10 seconds if he hits someone.

Maybe remove the dw pause while mending but have it go down slower. But make this only for legion so you can't cheese it with madness 3 from doctor

I find that bodyblocking is pretty effective in the situations you are describing. It's funny because survivors don't expect a Legion player to be smart

I wouldn't say a joke but deep wounds really is a weak effect. The name conjures up a idea that the effect just doesn't deliver on.

Nothing to be scared of with deep wounds.

"I give deep wounds to people working on a gen, AND THEY KEEP WORKING ON IT"

Absolutely blows my mind that survivors can do that in the first place, you'd think getting stabbed so hard you'll bleed out soon would prevent survivors from preforming actions until they stop their innards from being outards.

Right now there's incentive to stay in deep wounds as long as possible because Legions Killer instinct doesn't trigger if you're in deep wounds. It's an odd kind of behavior, but I wouldn't get out of deep wounds until I know that I can no longer be tracked through killer instinct.

You cant do a gate with Deep Wounds, you will literally go down.

They had it so DW didn't go down in chase. Legions proxy chased until you bled out.

Ironically, the same can be said about Pig and her traps but hers take so long to kill unless you happen to find someone with over half the timer gone that you'll throw the game getting that 1 kill.
