Legion is being played wrong
Hit one survivor with your ability.
Leave them be, chase down the other three.
Hit all four, kick gen while they’re forced to heal twice (best to use Overcharge or PGTW with him imo)
A good idea is to use Rancor instead of BBQ&C

I really don’t agree. The survivors could group together and heal eachother x3 as quickly, and this is assuming you’re chasing multiple survivors. If you’re chasing one survivor and have no idea where the others are,why not put them on the hook? That forces survivors to decide whether to save or not to save, and even if they do save they have to still heal twice.
Just assume that people know what they’re doing. You’re not the worlds’ best DBD player sweetheart3 -

Yeah you hit one then look around for nearby auras and try to chain as many hits as you can.
Then when theres no fresh survivors nearby you run close to 1 of them, manually cancel frenzy with M2 then you should be close enough to quickly catch up and M1.5 -
People just don’t realize how tactical Legion is at slowing down gen rushing. This is all part of their “trying to slow down gen rush by providing other objectives” plan. Much like they extended self care time.5

Yeah but that requires skill so people will just tunnel...1

I have been hitting them once than using that speed boost to get in front and body block them like wraith. I did it to a jake trying to run to the exit gate and got a kill because of it. You should only spread damage if they are close to you if not just keep chasing the current survivor

It seems intuitive to take a second hit on the last survivor you inflicted with deep wouns, but no you need to bodyblock and then cancel frenzy with M2.
They should have listed the killer as hard rather than intermediate because it requires quite a different way of playing the game.5 -

Thats how you take down solo survivors.
Before that you hit, then look around to see if there are any auras nearby so you can deep wound as many people as possible.
Once you understand him he's definitely nowhere near Freddy tier just based on how much he can slow the game down.3 -

I still think he is weak but yeah not near freddy level. I think they should reduce the stun after the second hit on a survivor afflicted with deep wounds which they are probably considering. Other than that change either make mending take longer, make it so someone else has to mend you, or make it take less hits with frenzy to down a survivor. 115% would be amazing but I don't see that coming..

A good idea is to use Rancor instead of BBQ&CYeah but did you get a hook from all of that? Probably not because you have to wait for them to mess up (forgetting to mend) or win a 110% M1 chase.
^^^ This.
You're gonna do a lot, but not actually get anything from it because then you're gonna get looped as a hag with no power. Let's not forget you aren't even getting time wasted while they heal either, because why heal? He can't down you in Feral Frenzy and at base he's getting looped all day.
Spreading those Deep Wounds makes you "think" you are doing a lot when you're actually not.

Hes a very weird killer. Hearing the developer comments in the other thread explains a lot. They had a good idea but had to make it balanced. So we end up with a very Frankensteinish idea of a killer. Definitely not intuitive.

The problem with making it so that someone else has to mend you is that you'd be screwed without bond. If he finds two of you together, wounds one and chases the other then you're going to go to bleed out. He'd run the risk of being anle to instaslug everyone, and this is a killer who can pull out 120% movement speed and vault pallets.

They definitely need to increase the time it takes to self-mend similar to how it takes longer to self-care. Maybe add skill checks but skill checks are skill checks

That monto video is filled with situations where the killer could hit monto if he made different decisions.
Surviving against people who dont know how to play the killer doesn't make the killer bad.2 -
@Nickenzie I’m going to tell you exactly what I told the other Killer main.
you are sharing information of a survivor who’m we all know has been playing since the beta. We know Monto’s skill as a survivor which is definitely a great player. To compare Monto’s skills (thousands of hours) against the person playing as Legion is (a brand new killer) is questionable.
now, we cannot compare Monto’s gameplay AS A KILLER when playing Legion because he will not upload a video that shows him tearing [BAD WORD] up with Legion because it is contradicting. The whole point of his video is to show him “surviving the Legion.”
if you'd like to know know how to play Legion better, go watch Panda and Tru3Ta1ent play him. I in no way endorse either of them, but it is a more fair perspective.

Anyone complaining about trying to win a 110% chase is using Legion incorrectly, obviously the 110% is set in place for you to NOT chase the survivor around but to direct you towards wounding others. If in fact you do chase the survivor, go into Frenzy and body black them, even if you can’t block them you will get close enough to down them. I will gladly give you a perk setup to help make him more viable for you to use.
The only way you can down survivors is if the survivor is mending and doesn't see you coming which is very rare or you can win a 110% M1 chase which takes forever. This leaves us with the last option which is using Frenzy on a survivor multiple amount of times to down them, this is the only viable way to down survivors but this also takes a long time. Not to say putting every survivor into the deep wound status effect does practically anything since they can mend really fast. Just watch this video to see what I mean my friend.
I can disprove the "Only way you can down survivors is if the survivor is mending right here"

I'd like to point out that in all of Tru3's videos that he's put up. The largest map he's won on was the Family Residence and Groaning Storehouse. Both tied for the 8th smallest maps at 9,984 m2 out of 25 maps.
Maps any larger than that are not showcased in his "positive outcome" videos. I would be very interested to see how many matches he actually played as legion even with his "best perk" setup and see how well it does on the larger maps and against better survivors.
I'd be willing to bet that the win/loss ratio might show that even with the "best setup" legion cannot win the majority of his matches even when played by a skilled killer.

I just think Feral frenzy is most useful as a tracking tool to find survivors in the terror radius while keeping track of where the guy you're chasing is.
The key to getting results to me seems to be end chases then sneak back up to injured survivors when they need healing or mending. Except you don't wanna use frenzy because its not lethal.1 -

This killer is hillarious, he shows the survivor's true colors. Watch how ppl will want nurse to do "deep wounds" and hit survivors 3 times at least to down them
at least on PBT most ppl know they are crap. haven't seen a single guy at r1-3 say he's strong.

Spreading his pressure is just not happening against competent rank 1 survivors on the larger maps. The larger maps are just too big to where his speed isn't enough. We're not talking about strong or weak maps for him, we're talking non functional maps because their size.
