Is this cheating?
I downed a survivor and they completely ######### disappeared I couldn't find them at all.
But their teammate came over and magically ######### got them up as I was patrolling the area where I downed them but I couldn't see them at all anywhere

Sounds like lag switching to me, pretty sure that's one of the common cases of it happening. Straight up hacks also allow down survivors to crawl faster than killers so he could've just crawled away while you were doing the hit animation, but those are the extreme cases.

Probably not, probably a latency issue. They probably had a high ping. The server had their old position and movement command, so they kept running in a direction, some data packets from them to the server were slow or lost. So when the server finally got the information on their location it was after you hit them, the server confirmed the hit was valid, but then the server got new their location that they ran to on their machine and it updated their position. Thus they appear to teleport.
Ever notice how a survivor might not be down exactly where you hit them? This is the same thing, but with McDonalds WiFi.

Not enough data to judge, did you down him and went away searching for other Survivors? he could be using Tenacity and hid, did he get downed and teleported several meters (thats usually lag), did you went away for a minute? thats time enough to get very far away crawling.
Without more information its impossible to know what happened.

Could be lag switching or also could just be a random lag spike that's out of their control. I've been in matches before where I've been downed and then randomly teleported 6 feet or so away from where I should have been downed.

There was a glitch that happened to me recently, my friend got hit while doing a big spin and magically teleported to the upper floor, although he got stuck in a generator and I got the killer to follow me so they could down him and get him unstuck
Just curious if it was something like that or latency, if not could be a lagswitch

I downed them with punishment from pyramid head and went to look for them to pick them up

Yeah, I'm sorry to say this but that survivor was definitely cheating on you.
If they don't want to let you touch them, but are more than willing to let other people touch them, that's not a good sign.

Iron will doesn't remove grunts of pain from downed survivors. There is a sound bug that has been in the game for a while now that will sometimes cause downed survivors to not make noise.

I've had the "dissapearing survivor" thing happen i'd say... ~4 times in the last 3 weeks. Not from a down like i'll chase someone and the dude will simply disapear from in front of my eyes, chase music stops, everything, dono if he's just laggy and i'm chasing "were the server says he is but the client isn't" or if people straight up hacking on those.
Had one REALLY bizzare .... bug? yday. Loaded Deathslinger into Coldwind, found a random dude early, downed asap, like ~30-45 seconds, he rage quit and THEN the game kicked everyone out "error: a player disconected during the loading screen", or something like that. But the dude wasn't afk he was moving in the open then ran to and tryed to do a jungle gym. First time i've seen that.

Thats a well know bug, people downed not having any grunt of pain has been in the game for years and IS NOT related to Iron Will, lately Ive been experiencing it more since the midchapter patch, they probably messed something up.

I had a survivor disappear in front of my face whenever I chased them one time.
Like when they were flashlight spamming me they weren't lagging out.
but whenever I chased them and about to win they ######### disappear

My eyes see "rites of judgement" and I don't focus on the pick up indicator.
didn't help i couldn't ######### hear them at all
